You don't strike me as a competent coach, to be fair.Right. Because Coaches of teams have never lead to victory. Ever. In any sport. More over, communication isn't needed at all to be successful in any capacity. lol What did I even just read dude. You know what leads to people getting angry and frustrated? Queue'ing over and over into a mode where you can't communicate clear plans with your team, marking healers who can poly and lock down a player to die almost instantly while in that form, only to have them ignored because your team is attacking the role that takes the least amount of damage and does THE LEAST amount of damage. Yes. This will make people angry who know the basics of PvP constructs.

I've taught plenty in other games and have regularly been Diamond in Rainbow Six Siege. Further, I pug literally every tier. And TEACH my groups what we need to be focusing on and get to Fight 3 regularly within the first week. But nobody asked what you thought about my teaching methods. Considering you have no idea what those are to begin with. The focus is the lack of information you can relay to your team in a TEAM BASED MODE. There's nothing that tells everybody what roles do what. And the vast majority queue in with no idea who they should go after. Instead just hitting the first thing they see while rolling their face across their keyboard. That doesn't help your team. At all. And leads to, again, people like me getting frustrated and upset because there's NO COMMUNICATION. Not to mention when you do mark somebody, there's always that guy who puts the 1 marker above the tank for no reason. These aren't okay methods for any system with an Elo. You know why LoL works with pings and such? Because there are multiple things going on in multiple lanes of the map. Or in the Jungle. But when your team wants to focus something, they say "Everyone go Dragon" or "Everyone push mid". To which everyone does.

- You're over-emotional, confrontational and strike me as someone who gets frustrated and tilts quickly. - There are tools, already, that can allow you to guide a team fairly effectively already. If your team ignores them, text isn't really going to change anything.
- XIV PvP is probably one of the more casual, easy to progress in ranked systems where even when you run into teams that are a lost cause, it's just fine going next with minimal punishment. Time investment is incredibly low, and you can't full de-rank regardless of what happens in your games.
- In the vast majority of PvP games I've played, chat is rarely used to be helpful and tends to end up being someone's rage-diary when they're getting trashed. I can count on one hand how many useful comments have been put into a PvP chatbox. Most things people say to try and get people to do something involves a ping of some kind, and that's generally effective enough if your team wants to work together. A team that doesn't want to work together, won't: Go next.
Want to send your team after a priority target? Literally... put a marker on them. If it's ignored, they'd have ignored whatever you typed anyway. If they put it on the tank? You can either help burn the tank as, in most cases, the tanks aren't actually that tanky to where you're wasting resources, or you can play a class that has a better burst rotation and kill the target you see as the actual priority in that moment while your team kills the other player. If that doesn't work? Just go next, it is what it is in any game where people either don't want to cooperate or don't know what to actually prioritize. That's all team games in a nutshell, really.
I've been in games where 4 players on my team were killed by 1 player, that's just a lost cause scenario and it is what it is. I've also been in games where internally I disagreed with a priority, but by burning it down anyway it let the team transfer to more important targets more quickly (or, instead, I'd zone multiple players out of the fight and stall for my team and, more often than not, kill one of them myself). You can't hypercarry in CC, no, but there's enough you can do to genuinely sway the pull of fights into your favor by making better micro-decisions.
But, I just think having the standard, regular chat in CC wouldn't be worth the value added vs. how people would actually use it the majority of the time. It won't be used as the strategy tool you claim it would be, as it almost never is in any PvP solo queue team game.

Welcome to FF XIV PvP.Or PvP in general. I've never had the best luck with PvP in any game that has it, but maybe that's just me.

Eh. I PvP'd before way back when you could communicate. But this system was supposed to be new and great. It just falls flat because of obvious flaws. But yeah, queue'ing up always feels like that Gif lol

I have kind of stopped playing PvP games mostly. I still like PvP, but only in small doses. I just end up getting stressed out, and infuriated.![]()

I do it for the rewards, mostly. The totally-not-a-battle-pass was one such reward. Once I get my GNB jacket to go with my western glamour I might call it good for now as well.

Only reason to do it, especially with an obtainable FOMO element added. This is something I will probably need to do every season now.

"Kill the healer" is a hard stuck low tier way to play... anyways...
I'm just tired of seeing dragoon and samurai 1 shotting multiple people and single handedly deciding victories by themselves with a single button. it's really stupid and old already.
I think potencies of ultimate's need to be bought down and the potencies of basic attacks brought up in trade maybe to make things less crazy and more fun.
Also I would like to see matchmaking fixed so each team has the same roles on their team. Ideally with 1 tank and 1 healer on each team.

Yes, but when majority of matches have WHM, all they do is poly one person and that person is dead before they get out of the transformation. You can't PUrify out of that. If you take the healer out of the situation for even a small amount of time in lower tiers, it sways the battle in your favor. But regardless of that mindset, in no way should you target a tank. They are meant to be abused and take damage on points"Kill the healer" is a hard stuck low tier way to play... anyways...

I agree 100% with what you said. If a team has 3 DPS, Healer, and tank. It should mirror on both sides
