Bump forever.
They said that they will add a premade queue once the mode is healthy enough. They don't right now because splitting up the queue even more will kill the mode just like it did Feast. It will come once things are ironed out and go well with solo queue. It, of course, will not be ranked. I also believe personally that it should be a premade vs premade queue, not a 2-3 people premade vs randoms queue.
Since it's getting bumped, but no one wants to pay attention to the answer they already gave us.
Me and my friends were excited to try out PVP but unfortunately, we are not allowed to queue. We came from competitive environment like dota, valorant, csgo, pubg, and queuing with friends is normal to us. There is toxicity, boosters, and other bad things. But I prefer toxicity with friends over without toxicity and without friends. Playing solo is pretty boring. We came to FF14 as a group of 8, so doing pvp solo is not what we came for. Even dungeons are boring for me because there is no competitiveness (no scores). Game is always a competition. Without it, we are like just hanging out in a club.
Anyway, we cant force things. We just have to accept and move on.
EDIT:
Just found this-> "FF14 is FILLED with the absolute most casual non competitive "gamers" of any game. FF community is too soft for PVP or competition. "
