Question relating scripts/bots in pvp CC

I have been playing CC allot in the last week and am currently Diamond 3 and am encountering weird behaviour. I started to look into it and quazzi made a video on cheating that was pretty mind blowing to me.

Since I am rather new to pvp I did not think this was a thing but it seems that there is a player that has been doing it on stream for a long time now and has gotten away for it for a long time (don't know the name) its mentioned on reddit and other sites.

It seems that there are programs that auto attack people that can be killed with LB and auto heal/purify when needed. according to the vid it's getting a bit out of hand.

I haven't seen anything online where SE is adressing this problem.
Are there any updates on the way or is there any confirmed info on this topic from SE?

SE hasn't said anything about it yet afaik.
But ye there are plenty of cheaters.
I have a screenshot that proves it, this guy did it 3 times this match. He has a trigger that (as i understand it), if anyone dashes away from him when he targets them, he instantly grabs them.

You can see from the image above, that barely a quarter of the GCD (ie 1sec), has gone before he has already grabbed me with the Warrior chain.
And as said above, has done it a few times this match. Once is fishy but potentially well timed, multiple times a game? Hell no, that is obvious cheat.
I've removed names to cuz idk what the forums "name & shame" policy is.

I have also read that there is a tool that puts a mark on the SAM if he or she has it's LB ready so you don't hit them in case of Hissatsu: Chiten.
All in all I mean it's pretty resourceful I have to say but doesn't it demolish the whole principle of playing pvp?

I feel like at minimum they need to immediately adjust something about LBs to ensure they go off because there's an extremely small window where if you get CC'd immediately after activating one, your gauge will get consumed but nothing will happen.

The bots are designed to try actively cause this to happen if they have CC available when someone LBs in range of them, and it's a completely game-changing advantage that cannot be pulled off legitimately with any degree of consistency.

Ye it defeats the point of having a player versus player mode if everyone can use plugins, scripts, bots , whatever to gain an unfair advantage.
SQE should immediatly go out and say "if caught using these, permanently bann." And then enforce it & try to block them as much as they can.

I manually mark SAM's that have LB ready with an ignore marker and it does nothing 90% of the time and 3-4 people hit Chiten so I don't think a tool is needed for that

I kind of have to disagree with that, every action you do needs some kind of reading, time to execute. Taking this away leaves more time for other things like doing dmg.
If it is used or not well.. that depends on the team your playing with ofcourse

It takes 1 button press to mark and most of the time it does nothing so if someone has a program to do it that would be the least of the cheats that are circling around

This will be largely the same people who did cheats, mostly scripts for The Feast.

It is often speedhacks by the less experienced users, sometimes just marginal speedboosts of constant 10-15%, so it is not noticeable that much. Then there is a cheat that lets you execute actions and movement while under cc effects. Some very rare cheats are teleports and z-axis hacks or no latency/delay hacks for instant double/triple weaving etc.

If you go into scripting the possibilities are endless, the guys who make them need to at least understand what is important for PvP and it is not always that useful as they claim to be, mostly because they wanna sell you their package and it sells better if they add more to it, lol. They used to make a complete auto-attack bot basically, where you only steer your character. Tactic and strategicwise, it is pretty dumb, but against casuals it must have been good enough. They maybe sometimes attack you while you are not even their target.

You should look out for consistent cc at the same actions, like LB setup or burst setup or when somebodys HP% trigger is below a certain threshold. Likewise they will execute specific skills under those conditions. Especially if you get the feeling that some skill is 'frameperfectly' executed every time, it is a good indication that they are scripting.

It is just much more difficult to notice I think, there are even less buttons to press now, so the chance they are randomly pressing the right stuff is higher as there are less total options to press, and there are even more people to keep track of (4 -> 5). So they are even harder to see in the rng-mess that is happening. It is like SE made a mode where they can worry less about these things, "just lose and rejoin 2min later, you forget about it".

You can't win with anti-bot/cheat systems against them unless SE installs spyware on your PC, it is better to let GM's handle it and make punishments/ban more severe and your game more expensive to buy. They are allowed to permban you without reason, if they want to. But they don't seem to make use of GM's as much as other games would, or they don't have enough tools to deal with it.

btw silly question perhaps but I have been looking into my HUD settings and I cannot find an option that shows me the enemies LB bars.
Am I overlooking something? This might sound silly from a Dia player but it is what is is >.<
