All Lvl89 Vendor Gear Sets in Old Sharlayan are available again even if claimed

Varsarudh in Old Sharlayan has every Lvl89 Ilvl560 Item available again even if it has been previously claimed.

Versions exist in Glamour Dresser and can be claimed again.

Is this a bug or a feature? Didn't include specifics since my static and fc already confirmed it across different worlds, Datacenter Light.

Glamour Dresser, Armoire and retainer inventories do not count against your active inventory for any unique untradeable items being obtained again (assuming the method of obtainment is repeatable sans any one time only quests NOT tracked or handled by the Calamity Salvagers) which has been a thing since 2.0 (perhaps prior but I was playing XI during 1.0 due to lack of hardware, and started XIV once the 2.0 relaunch began). This might not be the case anymore with minions and mounts since those got adjusted specifically recently.

As for the NPCs in question you mentioned, they're basically EW specific Calamity Salvager NPCs, their inventories will reset upon you tossing or storing away their offered gear, since storing it away would remove it from your active inventory (similar to tossing it) and their availability only checks your active inventory with regard to whether the NPC restocks the items or not.

which is why you should never store those items in glamour dresser or saddlebag or retainers. just reclaim when you need to for your purposes and then throw away again.

It's a feature. If you don't want the items you can delete them and then get them from Old Sharlayan when you want them again. The same system is used for Shadowbringers job gear.
