SE really needs to get the cheating in PVP under control. There's so much of it now and has been for YEARS. YEARS of feast cheating and hacking and add-ons that they refused to fix or do anything about. And now with PVP being revamped and populated the problem is getting more and more pronounced. But it will die unless SE does something. SE needs to be pressured into fixing this and there needs to be a huge fuss.


It is utterly ridiculous that chat was taken away in PVP because of toxic behavior but they still do nothing about cheating, hacking, and unfair mods.

If they still cannot moderate the leaderboards they could at least keep the top 100 rewards exactly same every season so they are always up for grabs for everyone and there isn't a new shiny thing to cheat/buy every season

The mode was DOA, not sure why people thought it would be different (Myself included). The number 1 ranked guy on Aether is win trading with himself. He will queue with 2 accounts, AFK on the bad account, and boost with the other.

Not to mention auto poly/silence scripts, auto LB scripts, ect.

This is no different from Feast which was reported for YEARS with no action. SE doesn't care about the mode. Just be happy they removed decent rewards from the top spots...for now. I expect to see "Look at this cool mount for next season's top 100 spots" and every spot to be sold/cheated/win-traded for.

Nah, they just need to keep throwing rewards. It's the only thing needed for FFXIV.
Current pvp "popularity" is mainly because of the new rewards + Garo.

That is why they can keep making new things for the lvl 25 of the battlepass and keep the ranked mode rewards the same so that buying boosts/wintrading stops eventually when the reward isn't an unique shiny armor/mount

Yep, as long as they keep the reward in the battle pass and give nothing for ranked outside of the frames then I'm good with it.

Playing the mode casually with no expectation of balance or fairness is fine. I've said previously to just remove ranked all together.

I agree, the ranking system is bad and there's no real matchmaking to speak of. This game just shouldn't have a ranked mode.
