Please delete Ranked and never add it again

I feel like they need to just axe the top 100 rewards entirely and just have additional prizes for being at certain point thresholds at the end of the season.

There hasn't been a single time they've managed to have a ranking that wasn't insanely rigged because of cheaters.

At least the very attractive rewards are gone from ranked so it's not nearly as punishing to skip any more. During The Feast's run it had 13 mounts exclusive to top ranked players (5 different unique models, the rest recolors of those). I was never very good at it but it looked like I might be able to maintain a spot near the bottom of the 100 list if I had just kept grinding out a large number of matches, but I quit due to the toxic way people behaved and then the harassment outside of the matches in linkshells and external chat apps. Just wasn't fun and not good mentally to keep seeing the elite talking trash about the people they get matched with.

Also, allow me to remind everyone that if you play Jobs such as WAR or WHM, you deserve all the painful struggling happening to you (for attempting to play on easy street by using Metajobs)

Even though the new top 100 rewards don't seem to be season specific, having something that's exclusive to the number one player is still enough of a carrot on a stick to encourage people to do everything within their power to get it for the "prestige" factor.

I was amazed that they went ahead and said they were suspending Feast and its rankings in lieu of creating a seasonal points tier reward system like Fortnite or something... and in the Live Letter where they elaborated on it they proceeded to announce their "new" ranking system for the new mode that essentially behaves the same way, still has exclusive top 100 prizes (even if they are pretty 'meh'), still semi-randomly matchmakes (that gets abused), and has even less "carrying" potential... just more streamlined. They simply aren't active enough to police cheaters in a competitive environment, as we have seen for 20 seasons of nonsense. They also clearly aren't invested enough in fixing bugs that have a big impact on job balance... Or even job balance at all- I'm old enough to remember when they first created PvP-only skillsets a couple expansions ago and SCH's Broil literally drained their targets' MP to the point where it was a legit strat to drain the enemy healer dry and leave them alive so they couldn't function properly...

I have yet to see clear cheating on Light, so maybe I'm lucky or blind. The meta also isn't as cut-throat since there isn't even a tank in every Crystal game.

I have yet to see cheating (other than the speed hack), but then again I'm stuck in Bronze hell and all the cheaters on Primal are already in Crystal....

My mains have always been War for pve an RDM (after its introducation) for pvp except for a brief period in Season 2 where i made Top 100 as a SCH. Am i now obligated to play something else because SE isnt able to balance pvp properly?

What you intent to play is at the end of the day, your choice, but dont expect that youre going to to be praised or considered a good Player in the eyes of others for making that choice.

A person with multiple alt accounts taking up an entire row in the leaderboards

Get unlucky and hit a lose streak and lose all your progress for the day

Meta resulting in you facing the same 5 handful of jobs every match and if you either aren't playing it or get unlucky with your own match makeup you may as well just give up straight out of the gate.

Not even any good rewards for winning beyond the feeling of prestige for being on the top which you won't get because win-traders and cheaters already got to the top in the first day.

Nothing being done about any of the above issues just like Feast.

Look, you obviously don't care about the player experience and integrity of Ranked PvP as always so please just stop adding it and letting crappy people wrongfully be rewarded for behavior they should (but won't) be banned for because that's all Ranked PvP is and has ever been and clearly ever will be.

You making crybaby posts every 5minutes is not going to do anything. Just stop playing ranked, you clearly do not enjoy it.
Stick to casual, it's fun as it is, i love both of the modes.
