Retainer Error?

I have a question I was hoping someone could help. I opened up my retainer and he had a ! symbol next to the "Sell items in your inventory on the market" and "Sell items in your retainer's inventory on the market". I hovered over it and it said I had market prohibited items for sale? But all I'm selling are some cotton bolls/threads and a housing item I purchased by mistake that's not market prohibited. Nothing I'm selling with him is market prohibited so I'm confused. When I backed out to the "Select an option" screen again the symbols were gone? And when I quit and came back the symbols were still gone. Did the symbol appear because some of his 'selling' space is being used for a mannequin I have? I've had it for years so idk why it would cause an issue now.

Was this a glitch? Or is my retainer selling something he shouldn't? The only thing I added today was the cotton bolls and thread...

I've noticed that it appears any time I'm selling any HQ crafting materials. I think it's intended as a warning for those who might still have HQ gathered/tomestone/scrip materials up for sale but it seems to be triggered HQ intermediate (crafted) materials as well.

If any of the Cotton Thread you're listing is HQ, that's probably what is causing the warning flag to appear. There's no problem with selling it, which is why the flag disappears once you check your listings.

SE removed items from the game like belts and some high quality items. If your retainer has things that are deemed "obsolete" or nolonger able to be sold via the market board but you still have them up for sale, the system will notify you that it is removing those items from the market board.

SE removed items from the game like belts and some high quality items. If your retainer has things that are deemed "obsolete" or nolonger able to be sold via the market board but you still have them up for sale, the system will notify you that it is removing those items from the market board.

The problem is that warning notification is appearing even when we don't have any of those items for sale.

As I said, my experience seems to be it's appearing when any HQ crafting materials are listed not just those now market prohibited.

Thanks, I am having this same error from things that I gather myself. The warning disappears when I look at what I'm selling.

I've been getting this constantly too, on both of my characters.

Same thing here, i got no HQ items for sale. Only Diadem mining materials i've gathered a few days ago and some glass fiber. No high quality stuff.

This happens to me every now and then and I'm not sure what exactly causes it. I'm not selling any HQ items that were removed etc. Sometimes my retainer is empty and it just pops that error.
