Homes are still saying the errors on the placard :S

Maybe its a sweeping change, and slowly it'll change per server/data center?

They haven't updated NA Lodestone yet with this message which is different than #3.

But yeah, still not displaying correctly at all, and still no participants BS is showing.

They retitled it "Instructions for Players Seeing Correct Housing Lottery Results (Apr. 18)" to clarify that it's only partially fixed (the final fix will require an all-world maintenance so they can restore the missing results and add a method for re-collecting gil from the players who actually won, and were supposed to have been able to claim their plots, but had their deposits refunded instead.)

The statement in the document was addressing players whose lottery went through correctly, are able to claim their plot, and are asking them to do so ASAP. It had nothing to do with all plots now properly displaying winning results as others have mentioned, that will take the maintenance.

Honestly I dont get why they don't freeze the NEXT lottery ENTRY period and let everyone claim their winnings based on the data from the previous lottery cycle during confirmation stage. They said they have the data, right? Sure, annoying as it is for people to wait another 5 days, but at least when the entry period ends, the data from the previous lottery will be there to give people their winnings. Obviously "freeze" meaning that entries outside the ones that have been made the 1st week would not be accepted.

This may not be as easily doable as you might think. We have to remember they have a backend system, but none of us knows what it looks like. It might not be possible to export the data from the lottery server and just inject it into the live game as is. That might be what they mean by needing an all-worlds maintenance to implement, literally building a back door to allow them to fix the symptoms of the problem we're having now, as well as preventing it from happening again. If they only freeze the next lotto, and resume the lotto procedure again without implementing the full fix, we'll just see this problem again next week, creating more work for square every 10 days or so.

To reiterate: This is not #4 follow-up, this is actually #3. #4 was only posted today (4/22). Please don't confuse this post related to other #4 posts and frankly should be locked, as it's just going to sew more displeasure in this toxic environment.
