Yes, if they keep it that way it will be all sunshine and rainbows for legitimate FCs. From now on, whenever a FC needs a house, there will be one waiting for it in Empyreum.... right.

Or, a bunch of shell FCs from RMT accounts will swoop in on the second or third round of lottery, having matured past 30 days. They will happily gobble up the around 450 small houses graciously held in reserve for them by SE (more than the entirety of the personal wards).

The plots wouldn't be empty if players could purchase for personal houses.

Sounds more like you want them to remain empty by keeping the wards FC only.

I think when the patch happens they need to change it so only 1-6 is FC wards, and 7-24 are personal wards. Flip the amount.

I thought that 6 wards for individual residents was pretty shit, especially with FCs owning up to half of the plots already and being grandfathered in. They should have introduced one or two new wards to help things out, but as it is it's just not at all satisfying. At this point I want to declare the housing situation total ass and would greatly appreciate it if they took outdoor furnishings off of the retainer venture pools.

Most of the retainer venture items aren't useful and just get sold, donated, desynthed, or discarded. Replacing furnishings and housing parts with other common (junk) items probably wouldn't change that much.

The valuable items from retainer ventures are valuable largely because they are rare.

This reads like a non-sequitur to me. I'm not sure how removing outdoor garbage would make other items any less rare? I would much rather my retainers deliver stuff that I might be able to use vs. stuff I can't use at all. At least Indoor Furnishings can be put in an Apartment or FC Room.
