So sorry to take up your time, i forgot you work on the SE team, and its a privilege to receive your reply.Reading the updates on The Lodestone would explain much. Release of the Ultimate has no impact on the housing situation. The developers who created the Ultimate do not work on housing.
You might also want to keep in mind that the Ultimate was originally planned for release in patch 5.4, then they pushed it back to 5.5 then they announced it wouldn't be until 6.1. It's been delayed for 16 months. It's way overdue.
But at least you have your ignorance to share.
No new lotteries before the fix... or they will really screw over their fans.
PvP'ers is better at grasping the game than Ultimate players anyway whenever it get to it, you can train following the same script on repeat and it will never bend or change in timeline of what is going to happen, vs. you have to make up stuff on the go in PvP.
Well they could of said they felt i was wrong, didnt have to call me ignorant.
I also stated in my postI just thought they were rude but anywayHey this is just my opinion and i have no facts......but well.
hey Mark don't bother with these people, it's a bunch of sad pedantic See You En Tee's and this forum is crawling with them. Say your piece (which on this occasion I wholeheartedly agree with) and let them fight it out in their basement battlestations!
Consider me rude if you want but you were the one being rude in the first place.
You could have said you were frustrated by the lottery problem and wished SE could fix it faster. I think most, if not all of us, feel the same way and would be in agreement with that.
Instead you chose to be rude by throwing out a baseless accusation against the dev team then went so far as to say you were doing it without any facts.
Only an ignorant person makes an accusation without any facts to support it. It's especially ignorant when information that clarifies the situation was already made available and easy to find.
My question did they not test out the lottery system before they brought it out. It seems like to me they never beta tested it or wouldn't had bugs to it that would stop the sales to plots.
They told you everything about it, they need time and QA and the likes and more to go through this requires more than just being able to handle the planned update, as the statements they put, they told you exactly how many business days they need for each step... and some may take long or be quick as well depending on what kind of obstructions they run into.So according to Yoshi, they will be suspending all purchases or transfers of housing in patch 6.1. Meanwhile, those like myself and my FC have definitely won the bid since we were the only bidders and can't claim our house because of the 0 bug. So why can't they transfer ownership of those houses that they KNOW were won by FC's since they were the only bidders? It isn't that complex really. Especially IF what they claim about one server not speaking to another is the issue.
I for one have not been impressed with the entire Endwalker fiasco. Between lack of content, changes in content that literally dumbed it down, and catering to those people who don't tend to spend money in the game anyway, add in the housing issues and the complete lack of availability for housing to the average person and it is really turning me off the game.
This game was fun for me, then all this nonsense happened with no care for the players that put in for the lottery and waited to win, and when you won you couldn't claim because you lost to Yoshi himself. Because that is what we are joking about in the FC. But to further deny us the home we paid every single penny our FC had, and we are talking millions of gil from each player combined to be able to place as many bids as we did to ensure our winning the home. We won, but in the end...we lost because now everyone is back to work and unable to even claim our home.
And all I hear is crickets chirping from Square Enix in regards to this one issue.
I for one suggest to them that they repair what is broken before adding more content that will be most likely broken to.
Yeah they tested it, but the test environment wasn't close enough to a real server to be a valid test.
A bit like taking a driving test on an empty city street, the results won't be the same as if it's peak hour traffic.
