Thread: What sense is releasing patch 6.11 without fixing the issues in 6.1

So according to Yoshi, they will be suspending all purchases or transfers of housing in patch 6.1. Meanwhile, those like myself and my FC have definitely won the bid since we were the only bidders and can't claim our house because of the 0 bug. So why can't they transfer ownership of those houses that they KNOW were won by FC's since they were the only bidders? It isn't that complex really. Especially IF what they claim about one server not speaking to another is the issue.

I for one have not been impressed with the entire Endwalker fiasco. Between lack of content, changes in content that literally dumbed it down, and catering to those people who don't tend to spend money in the game anyway, add in the housing issues and the complete lack of availability for housing to the average person and it is really turning me off the game.

This game was fun for me, then all this nonsense happened with no care for the players that put in for the lottery and waited to win, and when you won you couldn't claim because you lost to Yoshi himself. Because that is what we are joking about in the FC. But to further deny us the home we paid every single penny our FC had, and we are talking millions of gil from each player combined to be able to place as many bids as we did to ensure our winning the home. We won, but in the end...we lost because now everyone is back to work and unable to even claim our home.

And all I hear is crickets chirping from Square Enix in regards to this one issue.

I for one suggest to them that they repair what is broken before adding more content that will be most likely broken to.

The idea is that patch 6.11 has other stuff that can go live that isn't related to housing. Instead of delaying those fixes (and putting added pressure on fixing the housing bug), they will just release patch 6.11 on time and the housing bug fix when it is ready.

Yep i agree, fix the housing bug before the patch, but hey there is ultimate and also world first, so to them housing is on the back burner, and i would imagine that even though the patch is "ready" they would be doing final prep to make sure.
Do u think right now they are spending all there man hours on housing, or to make sure the patch is working and getting it ready?
Hey this is just my opinion and i have no facts......but well.

Reading the updates on The Lodestone would explain much. Release of the Ultimate has no impact on the housing situation. The developers who created the Ultimate do not work on housing.

You might also want to keep in mind that the Ultimate was originally planned for release in patch 5.4, then they pushed it back to 5.5 then they announced it wouldn't be until 6.1. It's been delayed for 16 months. It's way overdue.
