As for ranked itself I personally see no incentive to do the grind again beyond the mild entertainment it offers. It is best enjoyed like most things in moderation, and the rewards on offer aren't exciting enough for the likes of me. I do find it hilarious to enter ranked on alts with a big sprout slapped on their name and nothing but the ugliest mismatch ARR gear, and then carry games for as high as you can climb.
i went from bronze to plat in one day by playing casually lol and they keep lying to themselves about it being luck.
