Healers need an overhaul

Gods yes, I'd love that so much. And Amnesia definitely needs to be used more in raids. I'm actually surprised they never used it in E12 considering the fight was pretty much "erasing memories." I know it was just a specific individual's, but having it effect the party would have been pretty cool, especially if it was during the add phase (and during a part of final phase).

With stuff like P3S Macrocosmos being a thing, I don't mind WHM having a rare free-healing advantage relative to other healers (especially if one can shuffle their oGCD CDs partly around Amnesia phases).

I wouldn't mind it either but I doubt that they'd implement something like that since SCH/SGE combinations would potentially suffer from such mechanics since their shields don't stack and cutting off access to something like Emergency Tactics or Pepsis during a GCD heal check would either be potentially problematic or the heal check is so easy what little advantage WHM has would be joke.

SGE doesn't have to activate their shields. They can cast their heals without Eukrasia active and they'll just be heals, not shield heals. SGE/SCH wouldn't have a problem, per say. Maybe have to throw out more of the heals, but not a problem with the shielding.

the real question is since fights are supposed to be done with one regen one shield healer shouldn't we be more worried about WHM being chosen over AST?

In an Amnesia setting, there'd only be one shield healer, SCH, as SGE's is locked behind an ability. I doubt, then, it'd simultaneously force shields just to survive a single hit of a raidwide.
