    Agreed. I used to play Tera Online and though I didn't stick to that game in the long run because I'm a story-oriented player, healing in that game was super dynamic compared to the 1 button spam in XIV. It's not a 1:1 comparison because Tera isn't a tab-target game like XIV, but I wish XIV would take ideas or inspiration from it and other MMOs with well-designed healers. The heavily scripted encounter design in XIV does not gel well with healers' current kits. I hope they revamp the current design for the role.

    So sad such a great system was ruined by poor financial decisions and gearing that killed the game.

    Unfortunate reality of most Korean MMO's.
    I really love Blade and Soul but it has the same problems.

    I truly miss the game when it was at its peak with the E-sports PvP especially, it was so fun to watch and was really successful.

    Yeah, it's unfortunate, it had a lot of potential that went unused. I don't bother with Korean MMOs anymore, they have such great ideas but then usually get straddled with mismanagement and P2W elements. The same thing happened with Fiesta Online (still have huge nostalgia for that game). :/

    My ideal game would be XIV with combat similar to Tera's.

    I dream of the day when Granado Espada II gets announced, and I can prep a team of 2 Scouts and 1 Valeria-equivalent to go into a raid so I can heal the shit out of everyone. I miss those days.

    Maybe, one day, I can feel excited about being a healer in XIV again. Perhaps an overhaul of our action kit could do that, eh, Squeen?

    I‘ve played a handful of MMO‘s and I must admit healers were SO much fun in Tera! You didn‘t have a real DPS rotation, but it still was engaging because DMG taken was unpredictable for the most part. You actually used your WHOLE kit to the fullest! You had to buff your party frequently, debuff the enemy, supply mana to your party etc… You were always doing different things.
    This game had so much potential but sadly got ruined by greed…
