Sage low lvl level weapons ? Where are they ?

Hey,
So on previous classes like samurai (added with stormblood) or mechanist (added with heavenward) you can buy weapon items even for LVL 50 despite those jobs weren't present when realm reborn was launched. You can buy LVL 50 samurai sword and LVL 50 mechanist gun at mor dhoma but I do not see such weapons for sage, why is that exactly?
In previous expansion, we had those weapons.

They haven't done that since SAM n RDM because they are the last lvl 50 ARR starting classes. Everything else starts at 60+ n since then they cut down on it because it was a lot of work apparently

we're still waiting on lv 70 ultimate weapons for dancer and gnb........ we're never gonna get any other "old" weapon for the new jobs outside of the shiny crafted ones if youre lucky.

Will say tho that it's rumored that the Dragonsong Ult weapons use thordens weapons base model so sage reaper dancer n gunbreaker get those new models

iirc, later jobs don't get weapons at a lower level from where a job starts as.
So if you pick up a job that starts it's journey at level 60 you don't need a weapon at lvl 40, since you always start with a level 60 weapon anyways.

As others have stated, SAM and RDM have lvl 50 weapons because they start at lvl 50 while MCH, DRK, and AST all start at lvl 30. Note that none of these classes have weapons lower in level than their starting level, with the exception of lvl 1 glam items. All they are doing is following the same set up for GNB, DNC, RPR, and SGE by not having any weapons lower than their respective starting level. Though it would be nice if we at least got the primal weapons that match their starting level since they did that for RDM and SAM.

Machinist starts at level 30, so their weapons are 30 or higher.

Samurai starts at level 50, so all of their weapons are 50 or higher.

Sage starts at level 70, so all of their weapons are 70 or higher.

The drops from ultimate should have new jobs added to them. As for the 8 player trials I'd be fine if they just added craft recipies to make the glowy crafted versions that have basically just been glamours since the beginning regardless if they had stats on them or not. Maybe add weapons for the older 8 player raid tiers too. It's not like we're asking for them to make something for every old duty or craft tier. For these specific things the aesthetic is already there and that's mostly what ppl want is to be able to have that aesthetic on their character when playing that job.
