Should we collect gil?

I never collected my gil because none of the notices specifically speak to it.

Multiple times they say that people who have won should collect. But I don't remember seeing anything about people who haven't collected yet. The most recent update says "all players" should collect, but it adds "all players should collect their winning claims" and finalize relocations. It doesn't confirm whether or not we should collect our gil.

Should I just collect the gil

EDIT: More details. The plot I entered for rolled the 0 therefore no one won. So I never collected my gil. I haven't won but I haven't lost yet because they haven't published the winner. I never saw any specific details about collecting gil in this situation, only that the system didn't display the winner correctly and that winners should collect their gil.

If you won the plot, then in theory you should be able to purchase it before maintenance tonight.

If someone else won the plot, then I don't see any downside to getting your gil back.

Unless you really want to float Yoshi-p an interest-free loan. It might help fund glamours for his lala BLM.

I added more details, realized I didn't clarify.

The plot I entered rolled the 0. So no winner was defined. None of the instructions said to collect your gil if the plot rolled a 0. Every update says to collect your winnings if you've won, are relocating, or have lost the lottery. With the 0 roll, no one won or lost (at least not on the front end, results are still on the backend). So I'm a little hesitant to collect. On top of that, the plot states the refund is still available until 7/19/2022.

My thing is they've provided multiple updates that say to collect gil if you've won or lost, but not a single notice for those who are stuck in that limbo, just that they're working on restoring the results.

I would leave the Gil there if u want the plot., as u stated u have until the 19/7 to claim it and gee lets hope its fixed by then lol, that's what I'm doing anyway, i got the 0 bug but was the only bidder.

Im not sure but at a guess what is taking them so long to finish the fix is the Gil refund part, i think that they would have to find a way to implement a system so whether u claimed or Gil back or didn't, they will have a working fix.
As well as that they have test all there other fixes.

Not sure why they wouldn't lets us know whether to collect our Gil or not but I imagine the fix will take all circumstances into consideration, so there will be something like, if ur Gil is on the placard u hit accept/decline, if u had taken ur Gil there will be a option to , pay now or decline.

My understanding is they asked winners to finalize their purchases and claim the plots. I don't believe they asked people to collect their refunds if there was a 0 bug. Either way though they seem to be putting a system in place where you can collect your gil and pay later if you win.

Personally I'd leave my gil where it is until they're fixed it and run the fix for everyone.

Gil is safe till July (90 days) don't recommend jumping the gun and pulling your money out. Slight risk, no reward = bad investment.
