Please stop adding ground mounts

New patch and we get yet another slew of mounts that belong on the ground and look absolutely ridiculous flying. How many years has it been since flying was introduced, and yet we're STILL introducing mounts that lack wings or any logical means of aerial travel? We just have to accept a hippo can just magically fly around "because aether"? Why do we keep getting more and more fat ground-animals that shouldn't be able to fly?

Where are the dragons, where are the griffins, where are flying machines? Come on. This is just ridiculous at this point. The best we got was the Nier pod which is fine, but that's really it? I'm sorry but I'm not padding MAU's by doing a month of daily quests to grind out a fat hippo that can just magically fly because reasons. It looks stupid, it has always looked stupid, please stop and start adding actual flying creatures already.

I think the idea to make every mount be able to fly was a mistake, because it seems to have resulted in the devs getting lazy with new mounts where now they don't even attempt to make them make sense flying, they just copy-paste some monster and just give it the ability to fly and don't even attempt to not make it look absolutely ridiculous.

I used to think like you. What on earth is that motorcycle doing flying around, or worse, why is there an elephant in the sky? In the end, I guess I just got used to it and do not think about it anymore.

The fact is that not introducing new mounts that have no business flying will not alter the reality that we already have so many flightless mounts that can fly, and they are not going anywhere. They will still be there flying as they have always been even if we only introduce mounts that can logically fly from now on.

My personal opinion - and no one needs to agree with me - is that they should have handled flight completely differently. Flight should not be so much faster than riding - in fact it should be the same speed. And the heights you can fly should be limited. This, of course, would not apply to any map that is purposedly built for flying, such as the Sea of Clouds, Churning Mists, etc.

Only then we could have mounts that do not fly, since there would not be a very significant difference between riding and flying.

But the way it is now, there is no turning back.
