From what i can tell, Reaper isnt a very straightforward Job in terms of approaching enemies. I think it is way better to resort to hit and run tactics to bait people (one at a time) into isolated corners and then overwhelm them.

A good way to do so, is to catfish them by staying at 50% HP and falling back to the next HP potion, only healing youself if it gets too dangerous, but not too much at once.

It will require some trial and error with the gap closer, but try to rely on it as much as you can, it is more worth than it seems.

who in their right mind would play a melee dps to "hit and run" when you could just play ranged and...Just hit people, much harder at that lmao. Or hover at 50% hp? That's just asking to get silenced or polymorphed and instantly blown up

You cant overwhelm anyone 1v1 as reaper. Every class outdmgs you and has more CC than you. And when you finally ramp up enough, they can guard or run into a health potion. You just wasted 20-30sec punching a wall at that point.
Rpr doesnt put out enough dmg period. The best way I can be effective is to try an target low hp players and snipe them, but the dmg from harvest moon will max at 8.8k. you can recuperate for 15k instantly.
hit and run tactics should only apply to ninja like classes.

RPR should be high dmg output, some form of HP drain.
