Reaper doesn't need an overhaul, the kit itself is almost actually pretty good when you don't look at the numbers. However, when you DO look at the numbers it's complete and total garbage. Its potencies have no right being as low as they are when it has no on-demand stun like "lol ranged aoe stun every 15 seconds I'm a tank btw" and is one of the only dps jobs that doesn't just have a point and click deal massive damage button. I don't know what they were smoking down in square HQ when they were designing these skills for pvp but they screwed up ROYALLY. It blows my mind how I can only use grim harvest every 60 seconds, how everything feels like it hits like a wet pool noodle and the LB. Holy christ the LB.
Laughably low potencies, the only actual good part about it is how fast you can get it and the 2s hysteria. Hysteria is SUPER good for cart stalls and can outright win games if rng pushes them all off the cart. But that's the only thing going for it. Once everyone can retarget you, you're dead. Silences, stuns, and polymorphs all fly at you before you can even think about pressing communio, which btw, 16k potency for an LB? Lol? DRG can hit an entire team for 20-30k and be unforgettable the entire time. This LB would actually be fantastic if the potencies were worth being an LB and the reaper gained resilience. It's really disappointing because while it feels fun to play, I know I'm next to totally useless, especially in crystal games where everyone is at least decent at the game and know how to focus target. It's pretty mind-blowing how reaper got pushed out the door the way it is and has me genuinely believe nobody tested it.
My biggest gripe is who knows how long it will take for pvp balance to roll around. I feel like I'm forced to play drg if I don't want to feel like a total burden to my team and it could be months until I see reaper even being semi-playable
