    additions to CC Quick Chat

    - "Group Together!" or "Regroup!" since the only option that says regroup also says to fall back
    - "spread out!"
    - "careful with enemy LB!" or really just "watch out" since some peope cant seem to pay attention at times
    - please add some countdown for focusing an attack target. i know you can make a macro that uses enemy marks but i rather have that built into the game mode.
    - while we're at it, change the "attacking X!" command to let us target enemy party members with commands similar to how we can target party members with <1> <2> <3> <4>

please just add more relevant options. half of them are redundant or useless (who cares about your MP???)

Or, y'know... Let us use the english language to communicate... That would work, too.

    Mine from another thread:

    Suggested Additions:
    1. Help <t> (for coordinating if you see someone getting ganked in the background)
    2. Help me! (If you're the one getting ganked while everyone is chasing the enemy)
    3. Conserve LB (For possible burst potential)
    4. Use/Using LB (instead of just LB Ready allowing for coordination of targets)
    5. Wait! (To try and catch people from running in since fall back and regroup is only for specific instances imo)
    6. Enemy Behind us/Pinch/etc (for letting people know someone's coming from a side/behind you)
    7. Incoming Field Effect! (For when aoe or bombs are coming up and some people are in the fray, Danger Bongos for PVP)
    8. Use Guard/Guarding! (For flagging when you're using your defensive skill, this may be more niche but at least it tells someone that you've used it/are using it)
    9. Don't attack <t>! (for moving people off of Tank or healer if they're getting killed trying to go after them. May not be needed with focusing on/attacking <t> )
    10. I'm using Tilt Controls! (Kidding)

Essentially all the straightforward stuff that ANYONE would be able to call out if they were able to group up and/or utilize voice chat.

Can you use countdown in pvp? If so I'd love to build something like "LB <t>" then go into countdown. At least then you could herd the team a bit.

If even one person listens to you in the match you'd have a shot at organizing all these randos to possibly making a comeback/winning.
Some other additions like "With you <t>" or "<t> Time for LB" or something to coordinate that you can go with people or team up something vs all or nothing.

Imagine having more communication buttons than action buttons in a game.

Why do we even have comms buttons in the first place?

I remember old Feast. There's a reason it is the way it is. We don't really want to go back.

You might not want to, but I would much prefer the occasional rants in chat but also being able to actually strategize with my team

To be blunt, most pre-match strategizing isn't really important and mid-match strategizing won't be noticed by your team 80% of the time anyway because the game is moving far too fast. Better and more expansive symbols and quick chat options for audio cues, sure. (I really do want a spread/get in pair.) Free chat? Just not that useful when compared to the toxicity potential.

I've said this elsewhere, but the potential benefits of free chat would outweigh the ranting. Add in something to quickly mute someone and voila, you don't have to deal with the "toxic" people while being able to communicate in a constructive way

I think it is unreasonable that any PvE drama is allowed to be resolved trough Chat, but PvP is not. Any Drama happening there deserves to be adressed between individuals because at the end of the day, its a personal issue and Squeenix shouldnt be even be involved in the first place.

Also, forcing silence on all sides will only make things worse, because people NEED an outlet for pent up frustration, morality aside.

What potential benefits exist that cannot be replicated with better quick chats or markers? Again, this is not a mode that lends itself to complex strategic plans - it is simple and fast-paced. Priorities shift rapidly, often faster than I could type - and I'm a 140wpm lunatic that loves to weave messages to FC chat between GCDs. Your warnings will be too late, or unnoticed, or forgotten - and if you're just going to macro things, well, that's just quick chat.

There are plenty of existing outlets that you can make use of. Your FC chat, whispers to your friends, complaining on Discord, ranting at your dog, screaming into your pillow, and so on. What you are not entitled to is to take out those frustrations on your team members.
