Purify not working on silence/polymorph is the biggest offender. The fact that they released this patch with multiple broken systems, from the housing lottery to this pvp mode, makes me seriously question the competency of their QA. CC is wildly imbalanced and Purify just straight up does not do what the tooltip says. Unless you have a Warrior, White Mage, Samurai, and arguably Dragoon you are fighting an uphill battle. It is absolutely unenjoyable.
I think the issue is they balanced the pvp for people to have fun, I dont really think sweaty tryhards was their target audience and they greatly underestimated that alot of us want tryhard pvp. Everything about this mode fundamentally ground up says its meant to be a quick fun hop in hop out activity. But when you put ranked on something immediately large swathes of players turn fun into must win myself included. The fact that they released this patch with multiple broken systems, from the housing lottery to this pvp mode, makes me seriously question the competency of their QA. This doesn't really work because not only did they create a ranked mode, but they don't even allow you to que into casual mode with friends. This was clearly designed to be high energy competitive content.I think the issue is they balanced the pvp for people to have fun, I dont really think sweaty tryhards was their target audience and they greatly underestimated that alot of us want tryhard pvp. I disagree, or they are actually incompetent in researching pvp games. This is functionally blind draft normal mode LoL. I frankly dont care if the queue SAYS ranked, its blind normals in its execution.

1. Maybe try learning macros for communications? There are plenty of guides (for macros) out there for telling your team (via macro) during the awkward 30 sec who you’re gonna focus (via macro - get the hint yet?). I like the no chat function, thank god it’s there.
2. Purify makes you immune to CC for 5 extra seconds via resilience, friend. You getting CC’d right after using Pure-a-“lie”? The irony.
3. Ninja LB is broken but you want to nerf Recuperate at the same time? You know how Ninja LB works right? LOL
Can everybody confirm this? cause it seems to me that it isn't working?!? Or am i drunk and those 5 sec fly like an instant?
i swear i'm not kidding, the only times where i feel (am) immune to crowd controls is when i am in war lb
It works but there is a slight delay before the buff gets applied to you so there is a chance that another stun lands just after your Purify before the buff is placed on you

And with cheating and bad matchmaking this is going to look really bad for them in the long run if they don't fix it.

1. you are correct the matchmaking is pretty bad.- Matchmaking is absolute dog shit currently. There is no reason to be matching people outside of their rankings. Especially multiple ranks outside of said rank. Why are bronze getting matched with gold players? Why are Platinum getting matched with Crystal? Terrible design.
- Solo queue with basically no communication. What the actual fuck was the idea behind this? Just random bullshit go? Because that's what every game is currently. You have effectively taken the power out of the player's hands and left it up to RNG. Instead of actual communication... people spam the same messages when they get mad because their team doesn't do what they want them to. "Good job" devs! "Good job" devs! "Good job" devs! "Good job" devs! "Good job" devs! There is no pre-planning during those awkward 30 seconds where we all stare at the gate waiting for it to open to see if we got stuck on a competent team or not.
- Purify? More like Pure-a-lie. This is suppose to be your option to deal with the barrage of bullshit the enemies will be locking you down with, because everyone has bullshit yay! This needs to be changed to actually function. Nothing like pressing it to remove something and INSTANTLY getting another debuff on you, rendering the button useless a majority of the time.
- Broken limit breaks. Ninja is my pvp main and I've ran through entire teams multiple times with my limit break. Does it feel good? Sure. Is it insanely broken when used correctly? Absolutely. There are plenty of jobs that need their limit breaks looked at and toned down.
- Recuperate needs to be nerfed. Either increase the mp cost, or nerf the healing potency. It's far too easy to recover, which leads to drawn out fights where both sides are trying to get something started, then back off, then try again, then back off, etc... You want to recover? Then back up and use your Elixer.
- Hackers already ruining the game. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Go ahead and reward them with those top 100 rewards while everyone else has to deal with people abusing unfair gameplay.
- Job balance is all over the place. Why would I ever want a PLD and/or BLM on my team when I could have a WAR and/or WHM instead? This not only leads to a stagnant meta, it also punishes people, and their team for actually trying to play jobs that are underperforming.
2. unfortunately its either solo queue with no communication or deal with a 5 stack of players communicating
3. purify either needs a duration where you cant get hit with stuns or just do away with the stunning entirely as its not fun
4. the limit break balance is awful and definitely needs adjustments
5. yeah recuperate feels way too strong at times just drawing out fights for way too long and also healers feel less valueable thanks to recuperate
6. i have not expirienced any cheaters yet but it would not suprise me at all
7. you're right, the job balance is very bad
