The MMR is absolutely garbage. It puts u on a bad team after a win streak. By bad I mean random platinum on your team when you are crystal while enemy is full platinum team. And then once you taste a defeat from this troll system, it will put you in yet another semi garbage team with crystals that are on losing streak giving you the impression that the mmr is fine lmao. This is absolutely terrible. I was 1200 points in crystal league. And then dropped to 300 ? How you ask? You think I am bad? If I was bad I would not even try to aim for top 30. This mmr is there just to fk you over. Then there's some abusers who plays at night when everyone is sleeping and Ques at same time and ends up in top leaderboard... disgusting system. Fix this crap.

I would avoid putting any real effort into the current pvp. There are so many issues that it should be better treated as a beta.

Yeah I wouldn't get upset at this, it's just a shit system. Be grateful you're in Crystal at all, I grew tired of carrying these tunnel visioned deadweights once I reached Plat.

MMR needs a fairly massive player base to work properly if i recall.

Maybe, I'm silver and have only been queued with Bronze and Gold so it might go Tier Up and Tier Down for matchmaking.

Game puts you into +/- 1 your own bracket unless you are streaking one way or another when it can increase to 2.

There's probably some hiddern rating and streak counters going on behind the scenes that are used to build the teams, also Tank and Healer slots are taken into calculations when building a team.
They try to match equal amount of Tank/Healer slots and sometimes count them as the same, there's some rare exceptions with 5 DPS vs 1 Tank 1 Heal 3 DPS but that happens more often in Unranked.

Bad teams are unavoidable over good number of games, they will become more rare on higher ranks but still occasionally happen.

It feels like pure luck getting a decent team in Plat, is probably worse is Diamond and up.

Pretty sure there is no MMR/ELO considering there's no scaling with wins or losses outside of streaks and you don't even have placement matches. Everything is a 1:1 ratio and you can't de-rank. Its a glorified progression system.

even you are 2000 or 3000 mmr you will still meet these Diamond 5 no stars players
they don't afraid of lose
