Why is there only one character restore of the life of an account?

In my case I should of name changed or transferred the alt elsewhere but nope I did the emotional stupid thing and got punished for it even if my last restore was what 3 years prior.

It still stands I think it madness that there is not a recharge maybe after a set period of time to avoid abuse of the system for another restore, right now as it stands the system is way too stick, every other mmo or online game wit characters I have ever played have a recharge system so not to have character restored often from continued bad judgement call on the players side.

If you use that one time one time restore and you get hacked and yes you can get hacked even with a one time password on your account be far harder what will you do then?

What would you do when you have no restores available?

Will you take the response from SE that they can not do anything for you since you already use your one time restore and accept that you would have to start over from the very begging or quit all together?

You have all my sympathy then, i did delete a few alt on wow to cut brigdes and stop being reminded of someone i broke up with, it worked a little but i can understand why you would regret this.

The best i can tell you then is to go to the feedback subforum and try to get support from other player on this topic.

EDIT : Just saw that you did yesterday. The argumentation is different though.
