Ah, a productive thread with a clear request in mind. A rare sight to behold on these forums.

I feel like they missed the opportunity to bring in more gear, etc.

I've felt the same (all the more after seeing a suggestion like this years back). At least there aren't tons of licensing hoops for them to jump through if they ever double back to add more.

My primary focus was further utilizing what's already in the game, but I completely agree with your suggestions. And why stop there? A Drakengard collab would be great as well.

But since Replicant is the prequel to Automata and recently got it's remaster, seeing more from it would be so cool too and absolutely deserved, Replicant doesnt get nearly as much love as it should.

Drakengard 3 basically has gearsets for every class with the sisters, too.

Ha! Emil heads invading the portraits, love it ! 9S outfit should’ve happened as a true make equivalent outfit instead of us having to make our own male shift version… (and flight units when D:! Pod was much appreciated but still!) Honestly would love more outfits from the nier series, there’s so many good ones!

Just imagine: you queue up for Crystalline Conflict and are greeted with an entire team of Emil heads! I'm curious about why a 9S set was even left out. Did they assume it'd be unpopular? I'm still hoping for flight unit mounts, but it might've come down to issues with scaling it for different races. Pod 602 is much appreciated, but a Pod 316 rendition would be great so we can transition from both minions to both mounts. And likewise on additional outfits from NieR and Drakengard.

As long as they keep it out of the mainstream content cycle (Like they should've to begin with), I wouldn't object to more cross-over stuff.

I feel even more sour that it occupied as much of a spot as it did after the joy of the newest Alliance raid when we could've gotten something else devoted to fleshing out the lore of the Source or the First better.

I know how you feel re: Automata seemingly eclipsing Replicant. My first step into the series was when a friend suggested Drakengard back in '09. Compared to the rest of the series, NieR was a different yet captivating constellation of routes, references, and meaning. Automata remains my favorite, and I appreciate how it directed attention to the rest of the Drakengard series (Replicant/Gestalt included), but Replicant/Gestalt made Automata that much more meaningful: the "North Star" in the midst of twists and turns. Each connecting point helped Automata blossom into something more.

And Drakengard 3 sets (along with weapons and Mikhail/Gabriella minions)? Absolutely.

I firmly believe they missed a great opportunity to tie more deeply into lore of the Source and its reflections through YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse. They could've made one of the remaining shards the "other world" that the Automata cast returned to—a reference to our world. Tie White Chlorination Syndrome to some form of aetherical disruption (think Black Rose). That would completely change the implications of EW.

Just wanted to say thank you for bringing up the 9s set. It was baffling to me that they decided to not give males a male equivalent glamour and instead just gave us the feminine 2b glamour and called it a day. Guess it’s just more gender bias in the end since yoshi p only plays female characters

I am still upset that the YoRHa Type 51 gear is so different between males and females, I have been wanting the male versions of YoRHa Type-51 Jacket of Fending and YoRHa Type-51 Robe of Casting so badly for my character ever since I saw the preview images for it on the lodestone. Imagine my disappointment when I try them on and it looks completely different. And there being a 2B coffer but no 9S one is odd.

I think this would be a perfect addition for the next round of PvP rewards for next Series. I've wanted the weapons ever since I heard there was going to be a Nier crossover and was hoping they'd be in the 24mans even though we don't usually get weapons (or even weapon skins) for that.

The pod mount is cute but I'd like them to put Nier to bed. If they need content for crossovers, there's a wealth of material in the other games in the Final Fantasy series that they haven't touched yet.
