It’s like if you didn’t play early your stuck with the bottom of the barrel almost made it out and had a streak of bad teams take me all the way back to bronze 3, This isn’t fun, your team just gets steam rolled and don’t regroup, don’t play the crystal at all, like its almost like they are throwing matches on purpose. Please if you don’t care about ranked then just play casual stop holding back others.

Play WHM, get your LB before the crystal even unlocks from mid and LB your way to victory. GG.

Even early on the matchmaking was plagued by mass DPS that don't have any teamwork at all, the only real solution is to either carry super hard as one of the better DPS or take Jobs like WHM and WAR and dictate the flow of the game.

After I got Gold with WHM I started to play Jobs I wanted to play and kept climbing.

Update I’m finally out of bronze and I did it with out changing class! Good riddance! Got a few lucky teams after and now I’m silver 2!

yeah, pretty much. Despite the complaints about war and whm, the players in the top positions are playing rdm.

well I figured out if you label the other team with a ko order the players will most likely see who to ko first, that is a tank's responsibility to identify who is first on the ko list

simple: healers>DRG>SAM>NIN>MCH>RDM>others

this is what i use and have been trying to get people to figure this out

So pissed, so I'm just going to vent.

I'm seeing WHMs pat themselves on the back with 300k damage and 900k healing. Stop that. If your damage isn't as high as everyone else's, you're the reason the team lost.

Tired of seeing DPS with 200k~400k damage. Hitting a million+ damage and seeing the rest of my team at 500k is just depressing. This is with coordinated marks (that no one follows), samurais with 300k damage and red mages with 200k damage.

I had a Machinist yesterday with 90k damage. I got them a second time, looked at their buffs, and saw they were "Drill Ready" for the ENTIRE MATCH. I politely went to their server and actually had a decent conversation with them and they realized they never put Drill on their bar. Fifteen minutes later they were back in ranked queue and doubled their damage...to 200k.

If you are consistently lower damage than everyone else in ranked, go back to casual and practice. You're the reason your team lost.

Not going to lie this isn't the redeeming story it's (possibly?) painted out to be. This is like super red flag behavior imo.

I'm in the same boat as OP. I didn't play CC PvP the first few days, only started last weekend. Was stuck in bronze for 4 days. One win, one loss, two wins, some losses and so on and so forth. Until I decided to eff it and not play what I would love to play but switched to WHM. It's really sad. Silver now but really lost the motivation to continue and so I'm just gonna derp my way through the season pass for crystal trophies in casual mode and then let PvP rest until next season.
