    All in all, good stuff SE. Lets keep it going

    So, I think CC has been done very well, with further iterations to come.
    I read a lot of complaining about the Matchmaking but chalk it up to whiny babies with “I pay $$$ so I should win whenever I want”
    I work full time, two jobs, and a college student.
    I’ve played ~113 games, won 97/113 and am currently Diamond 4 on a win streak.
    I’ve had bad games, teams uncoordinated, disconnects, played early morning, long nights.
    I’ve used every job in ranked, and each one has a good sense of keeping its identity.
    I read a lot of “whaaa whaaa my job is bad because X reasons” well, class identity is important, if all healers did the same, all dps did the same, and tanks did the same then you’d have same old same old boring and bland teams.
    Keeping the WHM as the core healing powerhouse with big boom makes sense, that’s what it’s job is supposed to be.
    Keeping Summoner master of dots and aoe makes sense for its identity, black mage using ice and fire to freeze or burn makes sense, while some numbers could be tuned absolutely they function as intended and largely represent who and what they are.
    Imagine a warrior slinging spells and using fire magic?! Wouldn’t work.
    Samurai is supposed to be that one perfect hit K.O for cris sakes there is a f-info trailer with that emphasis (shadow bringers)

    Composition matters, it matters in real life in matters here, you wouldn’t bring 4’2 midgets to a basketball game, you’d bring scouted out, trained, and proven different talent to make a composition, some players are better than others that’s the point of picking and choosing.
    Yes, some jobs will always be picked because of their talents and powers, just like some people will always be picked because of their physical attributes or talents yet we don’t bitch about football or baseball.

    All in all, it does need work but it’s a solid focus, I’m looking forward to my last climb to Crystal.

    If I can do, so can all of you with MUCH MUCH more time and slaves to pay all your bills like husbands and boyfriends while you game 24/7

    This take confuses me when you're basically telling people to "git gud" while simultaneously acknowledging that the jobs are unbalanced to such an extent that team comps are making/breaking games.

    The jobs don't need to be homogenized to create balance, they just need number tweaks and some changes in skill functionality (Making it so MNK reliably get Earth's Reply off before it expires/they die would be a big one) to give the underperformers more presence and make the "meta" jobs less overbearing.

    In any team-based pvp game, there will always be a number of people utterly convinced that it's their teammates holding them down and they can do no wrong.

    Right now, jobs are very unbalanced, so I would definitely recommend playing a meta job. But there will be those that can't climb even with a meta job. There will be - very, very rarely given the current balance state - those that can climb high even using one of the worse jobs.

    It's not contradictory to point out both are issues. There's some balancing problems, but many that can't climb also refuse to take personal responsibility for doing so, no matter how many advantages they may have. So it goes.

    And i am suddenly disinclined to think you played the job at all, didnt even bother to look at our pvp page did you. And btw as of EW SMN even in PVE doesnt have dots anymore. Unless you are referring to Phoenix which is generally fringe usecase more than anything. Certainly not worthy of "master of dots"

    You say class identity is important but WAR are so overtuned that they are virtually the only existent tank at the higher level. WHM also fall into the same category as they are so over-tuned with their LB, unpurifiable hex, aoe protect, and their infinite heal glitch. They are also the only healer that really exists at high level play. I played 40 crystal games straight and a WHM existed in every single one of them. Don't even get me started on samurai, almost all top ranked players are SAM.

    One shot mechanics shouldn't exist in pvp in any shape or form. The fact that you try to try to defend it because of the samurai's "LORE" instead of actually looking at it's effect in the environment is just bad.

    This statement is literally a contradiction to your "stop complaining about matchmaking issues" statement. The main complaint about matchmaking is because you don't get to draft your teams in Ranked queue. Even if you choose the TOP class in the game, you can still be gifted the most garbage team setup. If they are going to make rank SOLO queue only, ALL classes have to fall within a certain range. The gap between classes are so horrendously obvious you would have to be lying to yourself to think otherwise.

    I personally have no issues with the maps and think they are well designed. But, in it's current state. The participation for crystalline conflict is going to rapidly decline. The Devs lack of understanding class balance in PVP is the downfall of the game.

    'According to lore' guns aka Machinist literally toyed with SAM and phased them out of existence. Try fighting job with two types of CC, shields, damage reduction, reflect, gap closers as one and see how much fun ranged has against such an oppressive kit.
