I will occasionally glamour my weapons to the primal variants from time to time. I like Ifrit's cuz he gives you hatchets, the only pair of hatchets in the entire game. And there are definitely other players using primal weapon glamours: the Samurai rockin the Tsukuyomi weapon, other Ninja's with Ravana, some players rocked the Hydaelyn glamours for a bit, and so on.I'm just saying....I see nobody rocking any weps with effects from ARR, HW, and BARELY SB. It's mostly Ultimate glams and relics. When's the last time you've seen anyone rocking a Sophia wep? Or an Ifrit one? Maybe they noticed this as well and stopped allocating dev time to it
We now have 20 full jobs, up from 13 in HW - that's a 50% increase in weapons that need to be made. As that list of jobs increases, it becomes harder and harder to go back and add more weapons.
I don't doubt that the art team has gotten bigger, but the dungeons, raids, trials, and such have all gotten more detailed. Just look at the new alliance raid - it's so beautiful & there's so much work that went into the design. Ultimately, they need to work on content first & foremost, so stuff like new weapons for old trials just doesn't seem like a worthy use of limited resources.

Here’s the thing though. We went from samurai and rdm getting 50/60/70 level primal weapons, then we get to shb with dancer and gun breaker getting ZERO. I can understand seeing a decrease, but to go from all of them to then getting none, that doesn’t add up. GNB and DNC got crafted Shinryu weapons in 5.1 I think, but then they got nothing until the final patch of Shadowbringers when they added crafted Hades waepons. And the only reason any jobs after SAM and RDM got Thordan weapons was because of Ultimate. To me, that is just lazy content design.Here’s the thing though. Omg did you just use the L word? You like, can’t just say that you know. Memes aside yeah they got shinryu i think it was actually 5.2 though, as i remember making them day 1 for ruby weapon ex glam. But yeah i agree. We went from 50/60/70 primal weapons for the new jobs to…2. And then they just used basic designed for TEA ultimate. I guess umbrellas are more important?
