At a certain point leveling won't matter for those older jobs at those stages, and I can just see them getting cut. Keep tolerating this as a fanbase, and it will get worse. Much much worse.
    YoshiP said its too much work to go back to add them for every instance possible. HW was different because there wasn't a lot of content to really add them to. Although he did mention to mrhappy before EW that they could go back to an ultimate and add new job weapons, it was a rather remote possibility though, one of those not very confident.

    So they stopped during Stormblood as you can get a tome Gunbreaker weapon or an Omega from O12S, but the last raid tier weapon makes sense because they were likely done with the job by then and were just in the testing phases. It's the same deal with a Sage and Reaper weapon available in E12S
