Excuse me? I bid on a personal plot using money I earned playing the game. If I get it, it will have ben won via a legitimate lottery and paid for with legitimately earned Gil. How could that possibly be illegitimate?

If you have a house in Ishgard, you can place an FC chest in it, regardless whether it's an FC or private house.

Doesn't need to be in the wards, considering no other cities wards have one.

But it always surprised me there wasn't one near the original marketboard. Plenty of room in that avenue.

My guess is it's a story thing. The FCs are related to the GCs and those don't have a presence in Ishgard or Sharlayan.
