I would like to say sorry to everyone on elemental ranked CC. I have been using BLM in pvp for years and I will not use new unbalanced meta bandwagon jobs, so those who have quit match, afk and spam good job at start.. I understand. At least after 6 years its made me make a forum post!
Good luck everyone, and you other black mages most of all, you gonna need it!
If someone could help me and post this to JP PVP forums that would help as i don't trust translate getting the point across.

Fair... But everyone can kill a BLM and unlike a BLM, I don't bring enough AOE damage and CC to make a difference. All I can do is harass and punch (with a good chance of murder)

Yes but ignoring you = Heavy DOTs and Icy stunlock hell. You being squishy and immobile means you are grade A target dummy to throw everything on.

Blitz needs to be its own CD, but outside of that MNK is pretty strong.

Blitz is fine, they just need a better defensive as MNKs for a class with not much disengages and enjoys jumping into the enemy team needs either a CC removal or mitigation. Thats all they need.

O on JP pvp has ALWAYS been a thing is massive, every night frontlines non stop queues before CC and changes, NA and EU have no idea! NA + Eu lot should make alts and see how we roll, frontlines with leaders is a thing!

I climbed straight to Platinum playing nothing but BLM before swapping out for something more consistent to keep climbing. It's hardly unplayable/nonviable. It's not a joke job or an auto-loss.

It also doesn't need a massive overhaul. The biggest problem with BLM right now is that its damage option isn't competitive with its CC option,
so if your team either won't capitalize on your roots or simply lacks damage overall, you'd be better off as virtually any other job.
The Fire DoT needs to increase in potency with stacks, not duration. This is a burst game. A 3k potency dot is never going to compete with a 4s root, no matter how long it lasts.
