Please start using SCH

Hello. I've probably had the roughest time climbing and in the process I have to say SCH counters WHM, WAR pretty hard so please start using it.

Let's try to create a balanced meta to give everyone a better chance to enjoy this new mode instead of abusing op garbo and creating a toxic environment due to imbalance.

I promise you will climb with SCH, they are really that good!

I hope the community can help create some sort of balance. You can even initiate fights with your shield. Make sure your mummify lands on a war and whm.

Aye, sir. They make a big difference. Not only do they counter current toxic meta, you can climb with them and even help your team out! I hope to see more SCH enjoyers in the system. Climb and create a better atmosphere for all. One Scholar at a time!

Having what can effectively be a 10% damage reduction with near 100% uptime on the enemy team does seem very powerful in a PvP environment that emphasizes burst so heavily.

I feel like burning Expedience's buff on Biolysis is a lot more impactful that the tiny 2K additional shielding Adloqium gets from it, though.

Yeah, they snowball pretty hard. The most effective tactic I've seen so far is SCH initiating and once they create a balance and on first kill they hit the pedal and go hyper aggro and just empower damage to keep the pressure up. They are really impressive. I hope to shine a light on them because they will be an amazing addition to current pool of jobs.

Problem with Astro is you have to rely even more on your team to recognise when getting extra dps (Which doesn't happen even at the 'top') where as with SCH you can just keep influencing the fights whilst doing your own thing.

Yeah, I can see how SCH has potential counterplay WHM and WAR. If you can pull it off, Mummification has the potential to prevent the target from healing through a well-timed and targeted burst. The benefit of having an on-demand AoE damage buff or AoE DoT with a damage debuff is more potent than people give credit for. The only downside is if people are aware of SCH's battle plan to Deployment Tactics Biolysis, they can spread themselves accordingly (though the AoE range isn't exactly small), but as the objective is guiding a crystal and the hallways can be rather narrow... you'll likely nail at least 3 targets each use. I know everyone's effectiveness depends on the competency of your teammates, but for SCH it feels more so than usual. It's by no means a weak job, but feels like one that relies on their team to finish the job due to their lack of any real burst. But if they do... yeah, they can create momentum for pressure very quickly.

I'm honestly having a bit of trouble with SCH and CC. In Frontlines, it feels like I'm doing more impact since there's a lot more ppl I can deploy dots to, but CC feels limited. And I'm not sure how to use Seraph since she's a totem rather than a fairy that follows you around since the objective is always moving. I guess I just need a bit more practice.
