    - Time Mage: the wizard that controls time... perhaps in here it could be blended with the red mage, as there doesn't seem to have that many time/gravity related skills, but I would love to see it here!

    - Thief: the sneak melee character that can steal from enemies... FFVI anyone?

    - Dancer: the perfect duo with bard and a very good enfeebler from FFT, as well as a good support in FFXI;

    - Calculator: awesome and hard to learn class from FFT, which represents an interesting challenge for the devs;

    - Samurai: one of the coolest classes in the FF series, in XI the SAM could open combos, while DRK was more suited to close them;

    - Necromancer: something we haven't seen before in FF series (I guess!), which can be a nice addition to this game;

    - Morpher: we have seen a few of them, like Terra in FFVI; they are characters who can transform into powerful creatures to fight;

    Any other ideas I missed?

    Chemist/Alchemist! Makes the most out of items. Could be the only job/class to get a potency boost for using them and the ability to use them on other players.

    Chocobo Knight! Abilities vary depending on what type of chocobo you're riding. Only job/class that can ride their chocobo in battle instead of fight by its side.

    Corsair/Gambler! Surprised no one mentioned it yet. Instead of just buffs by chance like in XI, make it have damage by chance too!

    Edit: Machinist! Specializes in machines. Maybe could be the class for the Puppetmaster job!

    Kouji, what is this judge class? I really never heard of it, despite sounding so cool =P

    I made this thread to add those FF jobs that we have already seen and want in this game, but I can add that one too. Is it a class you created or is it from the series?

    well judges came from 12 but i havent played it. only what i played was Gabranth in Dissidia who is the judge from 12 whose weapons are a combo sword staff much like darth mauls lightsaber from star wars but is made to split in to dual swords.. but i thought it be interesting to have it be enfeebling tank in the game since no mmos at least that ive played have Tanks that enfeeble the mobs.

    Good day to everyone. I don't usually post too much to the forums but after seeing this new job suggestion thread I thought I would share an idea I had about a class/job. This may seem a bit strange upon first read but I ask everyone to at least think about the idea before quickly dismissing it. Comments are always welcomed and I couldn't care less about flaming because input is input. Without further ado.

    Class: Musketeer --> Job: Summoner

    (OK so I know the moment most of you all see this, the tables will be tossed. Despite clearly being a hybrid, let us remember that Archer/Bard actually worked out quite well in terms of hybrid. So please keep that in mind)

    Here are my thoughts on Musketeer/Summoner. I am not sure if many people have seen the anime - Final Fantasy: Unlimited. For those who have consider the character Kaze.

    This characters main weapon was called the Magun, basically a gun that used special bullets to summon avatars (summons). Using the correct combo of bullets (three of them) he would then fire his gun and an elemental burst would form together to summon a desired avatar.

    So this takes us back to Musketeer/ Summoner. We already have a guild in Limsa for the Musketeers. Why not have them become an elemental ammo based damage dealer. I thought about what kind of ammo they could use and my first thought was the shards/crystals we gather for crafting. How many of you all can say you have an abundance of shards and crystals just being sold or hardly used for crafting? These would give crystals a whole other use. A nice way to take items out of the game. The musketeer could fire shots based on elements that may or may not deal side effects based on loaded ammo. This kind of setup would be similar to the Elementalist class seen in Final Fantasy Tactics mixed with the gunner class.

    The way Summoner would meld into this class, I would like you to refer back to Kaze from Final Fantasy Unlimited. A gun slinging class that summons avatars based on certain loaded ammo. Mixing certain crystals together would summon say carbuncle or fenrir, etc. Of course it would be necessary for the summoner to first defeat the said avatar in a battle before they would have the right to summon it. Upon defeat of said avatar a key item would be bestowed to the player allowing the combination of crystals to call forth said avatar. The avatar would draw MP from the summoner based on abilities used in battle, not perpetual cost for having the avatar out. When no abilities are being used then auto attack would be the default method of DD. A certain amount of MP plus the ammo crystals would be required to call the summon initially but it can stay out until dismissed. The reason I chose crystals for the ammo was because it would remain constant with the lore that the primals requiring shards/crystals from the beastmen tribes.

    Please bear in mind this is a growing idea and obvious holes in its design and conception may be present. I am sure this idea could work, if enough peopled liked it and the dev's took an interest in it. My hope is to create something not similar to XI's version of Summoner. As I said earlier this concept of Musketeer / Summoner may be hard to swallow upon first read but let it sink in and let it run around in your head for a moment and consider if this type of concept in-game would be fun to play and a new twist while still retaining some sort of feel from the FF universe.

    No hard feelings if nobody likes this idea. I asked a few people on my server and most of them found it at least interesting in concept. I would like to see what the community thinks.

    Musketeer - crystal/shard ammo. Elemental damage. Become summoner - fight avatar - use crystal combo to summon avatar. No MP perpetual cost. Avatar use MP for initial summon and ability usage. Refer to Final Fantasy Unlimited; Character Kaze.

    Read the full version and like the idea but not for musketeer. Maybe give it its own gun-type weapon and class, like a shotgun or aether-gun. Granted if it did ever go to musketeer that could open up cards as a weapon for gambler/corsair!
