I figure do the same thing they are doing now for all of it. Start at the top then roll it out to the lower stuff as they go....if it is even necessary given that much of the real system should already be there.Please and I know this one may be a stretch but allow for this in recent content. I know when shadowbringers was the current content it was taking at least 30 minutes or an hour to actually queue for anything even story related trials even as a tank or healer. The reason they have it so you can't undersize the current content was so people still queued, but what happens when no one is queueing already? Square already wants it to be single player co op npc experience, just let everyone queue with 1-4 people for many of the things instead of just the newest dungeon, or planned dungeon. Unsure if they release that one yet, but it was suppose to be an adjust difficulty 1-4 player dungeon.
They may honestly just be testing this to see how people respond to the choice of entering between 1-4 player, so hopefully this will be a thing with a bunch of things.
