Should a class be valued by how well they can duel 1 v 1? Because I can tell you if that is the case then MNKs should be at the top.

Note that SAMs are an 'all-in' class and has a kit that fits their role, a melee DPS that has to go up to someone's face to contribute. They need the defensives, they need the CC immunity, they are the shining example of what a class that needs to go up to people to deal damage needs to have (Aside from the LB).

If you think melee DPSs should be like a pin-cushion for CCs much like MNKs, then the one who is spoiled is you.

This is how I know you know nothing about PvP. Of course classes should be balanced around 1vs1 if you're melee, that's how you create strategies and competitive environment. So that way end game can be enjoyed by tactics instead of piling on a team that has the most binds, stuns and silence.

For the game to be more visually enjoyable it needs to have these kind of synergies. You're just a salty fanboi who is abusing an overpowered job, trying to defend it so you can feel something special.

It needs to act like chess and right now SAM is the whole board.

Ps. You keep talking about NIN being OP and MNK being your BAE but you default to SAM why is that, is it because it is just a superior job? Do me a favour, instead of posting here, go place those jobs you think are spoiled and compared to SAM. I also then want you to keep in mind the health and state of PvP and its future and then try to judge it by what's the best for its future.
