I also use 2, a Samsung 46" 3D LCD, and a Vizio 22" that's right on top of my recliner. Since most newer cards have HDMI out and most newer TVs have VGA in the options are virtually endless.

Laptop: 17.3 inch 1600x900 monitor.

Rise Against - TorchesThe angels dance like feathers float, they're here to see and to be seen,
The clock strikes two, the music slows and each one slowly dons their wings,
Once outside they all pair off and hand in hand they leave
But I'm still waiting, yeah, and I'm still waiting
I use a 23" ViewSonic VP2365WB for design and gaming, and a 20" LG L203WTX for everything else. Anything more is overkill.![]()
Same performance? You've either seen poor monitors or really expensive TVs. A monitor will give the user a much more detailed picture for computing. But if you play really far away, then it actually isn't a problem. Though I suspect computing isn't as comfortable.
Anyways, I use 3x24 inch monitors with a fourth 32 inch TV above them. The ratio for my three monitors is 5760x1080.
That simply isn't true
Agreed, TVs just aren't the same as Computer Monitors. Dot Pitch is much worse, because they're designed to be viewed from much farther away. ie a 22" Monitor @ 1920x1080 vs a 32"+ TV @ 1920x1080. Same resolution, TV has larger pixels. They often have other things not optimal for PC gaming as well.
I use a 30" @ 2560x1600, won't ever go back to something smaller unless I have to.
I used a 15" widescreen laptop monitor. At 1920x1080 it suits my needs just fine.
2 GTX470s and an HP w2408h which is old but pretty neat lol.
I wish mu stand could hold three of those bad boys, but it only goes up to 3x24. Though, I'm not complaining.Agreed, TVs just aren't the same as Computer Monitors. generally a pc monitor is functionally superior to a TV for computing purposes. I could never get the image to display quite right on my TV, usually there is either a small black border around the image, or a small bit of the image is cut off. Neither sits well for me.
The problem with a T.V. is that if you're sitting close to it, the images will be blurry due to the lower resolution. If you sit at an area where it will be sharp, the text will be hard to read in some games. (Due to this, Aion is barely playable for me. >.<)
