I guess it is widescreen; but it isn't what movies use, so when watching them you get two black bars on the top and bottom. That and its cheaper to make 16:9, that's why they changed it.
Anyhow, yeah, 16:10 > 16:9 if you ask me.
If you are going to play other games such as FPS games its better to avoid using televisions as the ghosting and graphics lag are worse than a normal pc monitor and will affect you playing fast paced online games such as FPS. If you just play RPG/MMO games then televisions are your best bet as there are some great deals for 32 - 42" HD televisions at the moment.
I play with 2 x Asus 24" dual screen 4tw!
iMac 27": 1920x1080 when I fight, 2560x1440 when I wanna take screenshots or craft, with ATI Mobility Radeon HD4850 1GB DDR5
I experience no ghosting on mines! But still, true for most TVs.If you are going to play other games such as FPS games its better to avoid using televisions as the ghosting and graphics lag are worse than a normal pc monitor and will affect you playing fast paced online games such as FPS. Yeah, they've always been PCs, and have for a while been Intel Hardware. I was more talking about the operating system not the hardware. For instance, for transcoding, Apple OS is usually better, whereas for gaming, Windows has usually been the best.
With Bootcamp it doesn't use OSX, just partitions the drive into OSX and Windows partitions. So there's no difference between the performance you'd get on a Windows PC.
