    I know it was more involved. I'm not riding off the train on this one with the whole "Go play Ultimate" thread, but rather trying to prove a point that the development team is out of touch with what Healers want compared to the likes of Tanks and DPS who have that sense of engagement. Engagement is the keyword here, as it is what drives the player to keep playing the job - if they're not really engaged with how the job plays at Lv 50, all the way up to 70, you can't say "It gets better from here." and leave it at that - you need to provide reasonable justification for it. I'm currently leveling an alt who is at 50 in ARR as a WHM and if I want to be honest, it's felt rather miserable when I've had to manage my MP compared to the likes of SCH, who has a tool that grants them 2000 MP AND Lucid to help manage their MP, compared to WHM who has just Lucid. They need to take another look and fix the issue and it's why I'm wanting to press for this; experience with a job and playing it for a long time allows you a different perspective that ALL players who have played different roles have learned over the years.

    E. Diagnosis is a good emergency button if you've used up your stacks, Soteria, and other utilities since it has an Instant cast after Eukrasia. It's dependent on your tank and resource management at 90 though.

    Might just be my experience, but usualy if things go that Bad, i use e. Prognosis because usualy at that point it's not just one person that needs healing and a shield.

    Personally I don't mind if healing took on more of a support role, things like Astro are honestly a lot of fun, and the healing is only part of their toolkit. WHM is absolutely abhorrent, and if you want to have 2 support healers, and 2 dps healers, give the dps healers some form of DPS management tools on top of healing. It would require a rework of WHM and already some changing of SGE, so I'd honestly prefer SGE and WHM have more damage, and be a more welcoming healer toolkits, while AST and SCH have a lot of support options, bit less healing but a lot of tools to bring along instead. Playing WHM and playing AST feels like I'm playing 2 totally different games, and WHM is not a fun one.

    Hm. I like the sound of this. That could be fun. Honestly I'd still be playing AST if the general attitude towards healers didn't leave me with such a bad taste in my mouth.

    One thing I think would be a problem though is that would conflict with what I've read of the JP forums. They seem very interested in healing more and don't much care for the dps aspect. It's been very illuminating to see their perspective in contrast to ours. Hopefully something can be adjusted to make everyone happier.

    I mean there are a number of Healers here that would love to heal more too.
    It's just that we accepted the Dev's stance of not upping healing requirements so sprouts are not overwhelemed. Thus people here looked at other things they can/could do to improve Healers. And getting back the DPS skills we had before ShB was the obvious Option people latched onto.

    Bringing back old skills, bringing in some of the ideas from the new PvP stuff into PvE and maybe adding in something new where needed would go a long way.
    Though if they start adding in attacks, they would have to probably drop potency of attacks slightly to compensate for the extra attacks if they're higher potency than their main spammed attack spell...

    Also, speaking of pontency, can we get a standardized potency for healer attacks, because looking at them...
