    Fc house bidding

I wonder if it would help things if an FC is only allowed to bid on 1 plot as a team, instead of spreading out their bids and causing an issue of a possible multiple wins. Which causes the opportunity of other fc\\'s not winning. If an fc is wanting a particular plot. They would place all bids on that 1 plot to better their odds. Plus with multiple wins from 1 Fc, currently they\\'ll lose a lot of Gil. Where as of they all bid on the same plot. There won\\'t be a worry of losing so much Gil if there was multiple wins.

Isn't what you're referring to something that would kind of enforce itself lol? It's like saying you need a forward-pointing arm brace regulation for people who might accidentally shoot themselves in the foot

    >FC wins multiple bids
    >FC loses a ton of money

    or

    >FC bids several times on one house
    >FC loses and gets all their money back
    >FC wins and gets most of their money back

I literally hadn't even considered that someone would make a mistake so ridiculous in the first place

Well right now, large fc's has the advantage of this. Let's say 1 fc places 5 bids on 4 different plots.(5 bids per plot=20bids) now a smaller fc that isn't capable of doing that only places their bid one 1 of those plots. Let's say the larger fc wins 2 plots. One of them being the same one as the smaller fc. Now the smaller fc is out of luck either way if the larger fc picks that plot or not. If an fc wants a plot.

They should all place their bids into that 1 plot. Larger fc's may not like that idea. But it makes it more fair to the smaller fc's. (Obviously multiple fc's can bid on the same plot still. Like how it is now. )

Thats what Im saying though. If I led a 512 man FC, why would I bid on two different houses rather than overloading the absolute hell out of the one specific plot that i do want? If i split them up I would lose gil in the event of winning multiple, no?

Okay so we are on the same page then. I don't understand why fc's would want to bid on several plots. And having the possibility of losing Gil. Over all I like the lottery system. Just enforce it so fc's are limited to bidding on 1 plot. There's no reason to bid on multiple plots. Besides just flaunting that they have a lot of Gil.

SE explained why FCs were allowed to place multiple entries. It makes sense. Larger FCs serve more players so it makes sense to give them a better chance at a plot they feel best serves their needs.

There aren't enough larges to go around in the first place so chances are good you would have lost regardless. Accept and move on.

There were multiple mediums on Coeurl that had no entries at all this first lottery period so you probably have a decent chance of getting one in the second lottery, especially with all the mediums that opened up in the FC wards in other housing districts. I even saw a few larges become available.

Good luck in round two once it finally happens.

As for why a few FCs entered on multiple plots - no one was certain what to expect with this first lottery period and some people were recommending that FC enter for multiple plots instead of consolidating entries at one plot because statistically it would raise their chances of winning a percent or two. It clearly wasn't a helpful tactic now we can see the results after the fact.
