    Yep, Red would be so much easier to see. Same with other aoes from not friendly units. Sage changes colors, why can't other things?
    They HAVE like... minimal blue borders but you have to quint a lot.
    The indicators for stuff and sounds are absolutely horrible.

    Also i know Purify is "broken", but one can rather buff purify to control status effects is what i personally mean. I play from EU to Balmung, i actually don't notice the brokeness. Never bother purifying wars stun tho tbh, i keep it for other stuff that might happen after so i can guard real quick in hopes i survive.

    I won't even say war and whm are bad. I play whm, but not because it's op. Whm is my main and i like how it plays, even if they would nerf it i would play it. So i will just be accused of using it because its op anyways and my opinion doesn't count.

    But the fact is just that one SHOULD buff other classes.
    They will still be bad even if others get nerfed to the point they also feel really bad to play and everything slows down a LOT.

    That is why i say buff what needs help.

    Adjust Whms LB charge.
    Cure bug is a given, even tho cure isn't really strong enough to make a difference. Bugs are bugs tho.
    Adjust purify cooldown AND gracetime.
    One could even give it an immunity on usage, with curing something giving a longer time.

    You can really also give every class an extra purify like some do. Really wouldn't change much other than forcing people to use their stuff smarter.

    I'm just kinda sick of hearing that WAR is this machine with no counterplays.

    And i'm so much more stuff used in splatoon man, its such a more hectic game and even if stuff gets adjusted. It was always "well figure it out".
    When the game came out, Splashdown was deemed OP. Now it is one of the worst specials because many weapons can easily cancel it.

    One just gotta learn how to deal with all of this and.

    Nerfing is just not what i want, i want every class to be rewarding to play instead of making everything unrewarding.
    Whats the point if every class feels bad to play and the underperforming still underperform and games take longer, i like how quick and snappy it usually is. Even if overtime is way too long.

    Before, we had a problem where damage was so low that everything felt kinda meaningless and you needed help for about anything. Now the damage is so high that some jobs will pretty much unmake you if they even so much as glance in your direction. This is especially problematic with DRG and SAM, both of which are presently so overtuned that you can pretty much write off a match the second you see them on the other team unless the people you were grouped with are really, really good. WAR isn't as bad as people are letting on like it is, but it probably does have a little too much CC. WHM, on the other hand... hoboy. WHM is dumb.

    Every job should be fun and impactful, but it's not exactly enjoyable to know you're screwed from go because the other team's composition trumps yours. Either make every job capable of doing obscenely broken crap, or make no jobs capable of it.

    I still don't understand what were they thinking when they decided to go from the chill pvp we had (long times to kill with little to no cc) to world of stunlocks and bursts that can delete even tanks in milliseconds.
    Obviously they balanced the entire thing around Crystal Conflict where you need people to actually die so the game can happen but still... Was it worth messing up Rival Wings and Frontline for that?
    (Too much) crowd control and one-hit-delete moves aren't particularly fun.

    I don't know if the nerf discussion needs to happen with any job other than WHM right now. WAR oppresses people who stack up in low tiers because they feel like their entire team is getting stunned all the time (it is, but only one of you needs to be on the crystal to move it). WHM on the other hand has some pretty ridiculous AoE burst potential which makes it a lethal combo with maaaaaany other limits. Nerfing WAR for the lower tiers will just kill it in Diamond and above, which would make the people in low ladder happy but just kill it off in the ranks above.

    I'd like to see some buffs for PLD, GNB, DNC, BLM to start. Not necessarily in that order, I think the latter three need them the most. I think other 'not great' jobs like SCH, PLD, AST (maybe) also need help but nearly as much as the other three. PLD and AST you need to be careful with because they have a chance to become too awkward and oppressive.

    As for the top jobs, as someone who prefers the fast-paced gameplay over the grind of feast, I think they're pretty reasonable. Aside from RDM with its DoTs (which really are a pain) I think their kill times outside of dives are very reasonable, and can you really complain about dying too fast of three people on the enemy team focused you at once?

    Edit: There's some normal tepid takes in this thread, so I'll cover some of them here,

    CC is supposed to be oppressive to a certain extent, but I'm guessing that a lot of the people here are popping Purify for the first thing that hits them then being surprised that a NIN puts them in a blender for six seconds. Getting hit with the RDM bind at max range isn't going to kill you, getting stunlocked for six seconds because you don't have it after a NIN and MNK jump you absolutely will. And if you find yourself going mano y mano with jobs that have CC, and you don't, and you can't kill them when they're in your grill... Why are you trying to fight them solo? Get a friend?

    Nerfing classes at random because your Silver 3 game was a wash after getting WAR LB'd into DRG LB'd for the fourth match in a row is stuuuupid. Throwing yourself into the same situation over and over gain and expecting different results is dumb. If a DRK jumps on you there are really consistent guard timings to avoid the worst of their damage. If you see one with firstmind's focus and they gierskogul you press the guard button to save a buffed Wymrwind thrust. If you're lucky they'll continue attacking you like guard isn't up because they expect everyone to eat that combo every single time. Look at their limit gauge, if it's full and you don't see them there's a decent chance something is going to happen, guard up or run away.

    Your suffering as a BLM one-trick in ladder is not the fault of jobs with good burst windows and decent movement, it's the fault of the devs who decided to make an AoE grind job in a design space that's dominated by burst and is the easy to target while in limit. Try going freeze for maximum disruption in maps with damaging field events for cheeky kills, and try to pick good angles to harass.

    As someone who has had fun on white mage, its limit break is insane.

    So whats white mage's limit break then?

    White Mage's LB: 40y range, 18000 potency, line aoe, that stuns for 3 seconds, grants you and allies +10% damage and healing potency, also gives allies a 4000 potency that lasts for 15 seconds.

    You can see it right? Most of the limit breaks are fairly niche in their purpose. But white mage weirdly gets a limit break that is a line aoe nuke that requires no setup and is really generic.

    IMO, if anyone needs an ASAP nerf it's WHM. Like now.
    Not only because the supposed Cure bug, but the LB needs a hard nerf.
    You already have Poly but now you're loaded with a stun, a regen and a DPS buff and besides the fact you're almost ALWAYS teamed up with WAR...
    You're literally stunned for days and Purify almost never works correctly.
    The LB is way, WAAAAAY too powerful and they have way too much utility with not to mention that it charges way too fast.

    WAR needs a nerf too, but WHM needs to be all eye's set on.

    Yes I'm sick and tired of being beamed or poly EVERY engagement. Purify absolutely needs to be able to purge it. Its beyond dumb.
