You don't need to prove anything, but you should at least know what you're talking about before spouting wrong nonsense into the void :P

The idea that climbing is more about skill than it is what jobs are currently overperforming monstrously compared to others. Take it from me, who is stubbornly playing GNB despite it being easily one of the weakest jobs in PvP right now, there's only so much one person can do when limited by the devs themselves. And even when I outperform the rest of my team in spite of that, I still lose significantly more often than I win. But if you wanna just disregard the horrendous position that balancing is in right now, feel free. Your sub.

I think the biggest problem is that Purify isn't reliable for now. They gave some jobs waaaaay too much CC but didn't give Purify a grace period. You should be CC immune for 4 seconds after using it, WAR would take a heavy hit if this came around. It would still be stronger than say DRK, but it would be a much better overall player experience.
Sorry off topic but why do I get the vibes your avatar’s portrait looks like Elton John? So, balance right now is terrible. At the higher ranks, many jobs simply disappear from play. Yet I think overall CC is a step in a good direction. It's a fun mode despite the balance issues. Of course, people will cry "nerf warrior!", "nerf red mage!", "nerf dragoon!" and so on... several topics already on these, in fact.
...But I don't think SE should do this. What makes the mode fun is the jobs are strong - they have lots of playmaking potential. Take away that potential and what we'll get will look more like a "The Feast 2.0". Gross, right? And previous feedback for the feast was that kills don't happen often enough - making the game too static.
What I hope the balance team will consider doing, then, is bringing up the potential of other jobs: give everyone the potential that warrior and red mage and so on have.
With the exception of WHM and SAMN most jobs are solid.
I do think this game needs a better communication system in order for its true potential to be reached.
You know, I've considered making a separate thread on this...I think the biggest problem is that Purify isn't reliable for now. They gave some jobs waaaaay too much CC but didn't give Purify a grace period. You should be CC immune for 4 seconds after using it, WAR would take a heavy hit if this came around. Purify, IMO, is definitely too weak, considering 1 job alone gets aoe stun on a 15s CD (and other CC to mix in while waiting for the next stun), then add in 4 others with at least 1 CC each but often more. CC definitely needs a long hard look and purify needs its cooldown cut down to like 1/3rd of what it currently is, or there needs to be an alternative like bringing back old CC resistances. Or anything else. Just something needs to be done with how spammy CC is. Still think the new mode is good but there's a lot of work to do on several aspects.
But as it is. Well suppose a warrior uses the gap closer-aoe stun on you. You purify it. He then just have to wait for a tiny window to pull you back in which then afflicts heavy and now you have no way to purge it. And he'll get the stun back twice before you can purify it again. And that's just one enemy. Add in 4 others on the enemy team and.. yeah. Of course guard has its uses but that can only be used preemptively and it's effectively a self-stun anyways.
