Others may say otherwise, but I'd still say the same. If devs aren't committed to developing a new playable race AND supporting it with everything others have then they shouldn't develop it in the first place.
The devs are now obliged to fully support not one but two new races they messed up with, and I don't know what caused this mess as they have already developed an entirely new race from the ground up (Au'ras)
I don't play a Hrothgar, but I'd still love to see YoshiP play one for an extended period of time. Let's get him off of BLM for a while too, while we're at it.
me too
But I raise the challenge to "until they fix the races".
He really wanted a bestial race in the game, and now that it exists, he doesn't even consider using it. I'm here thinking why?
+1
I agree, this would be really interesting to see.
It’s easy for him to keep Hrothgar waiting for over 3 years, all while he plays a race who has access to all customisations in the game. This would give him a glimpse on what the Hrothgar have endured for all this time, and he would be more understanding of why people are annoyed.
Considering that his lalafell is female, just imagine when he finds out that the race he wanted so much doesn't have a female version yet.+1

I think it's because AuRa was a planned race.Others may say otherwise, but I'd still say the same. If devs aren't committed to developing a new playable race AND supporting it with everything others have then they shouldn't develop it in the first place.

Viera and Hrothgar was only added due to the community begging for Viera for years.
Hrothgars was added to also give people who wanted a beast race something.
Neither of these 2 races was something SE had in mind until demanded for.
So I'm not shocked that they can't keep up with all the races now when they have 2 more they probably wouldn't have added otherwise.
I just thought that new stuff added post would've had Viera and Hrothgar in mind when tailored to races to work with.
All jests aside I think playing as the race for a month or patch might as least give him or staff ideas about what might look good. Im still holding out on a posture toggle at the Aesthetician. He claims that Hrothgar are a "bestial" race so they should stay hunched, but did you see the hairs they just added? Not exactly convincing.
Me too.
I wholeheartedly believe Yoship and the dev team can do much better.
They are one of the biggest MMOs.
They already done many awesome things with the game.
Is one of the main playable races of your game why can't be treated with the same effort and quality as the others, i can't possibly see an excuse for this.
If they don't have enough hands for do such thing they must be more than able to hire at least someone to dedicate to the job or outsource a company capable of it, as they said, is not that can't be done, is just that they are currently mediocre at it and they don't seem that interested on improving.
He should definitely do it to better understand how the race-specific limitations are upsetting to many players.
