Housing Lotto: "Current Participants" question

Hi everyone,

I placed a bid on a small plot in The Mist, and lost out to the "winning number was 0" error.

Thinking I lost at the time, before I realised it was a game-wide bug, I refunded my Gil.

Now, I can't remember if I was the only player entering for my plot, or if one other person tried for it too.

When I click on the plaque now it says "Current Participants: 1" but this is after I refunded my Gil.

So with this bug happening, is the "1 participant" that's showing on the plaque mean that I was still the only person to enter the lotto for that plot, or does it mean there's a second player who didn't yet refund their Gil?

You are the 1 participant. Just hang on for now. They'll have to get the gil from you again somehow but we'll see how that works out.

The info on the placard (lottery server) is correct. The info in the pop-up menu (housing server) is incorrect if it displays no participants. As of the lottery close on Saturday I was the sole participant on the plot I was after. It still has me listed on the placard even though I refunded the deposit on both on my main and alt.

It would really help you I think to read the front page of the Lodestone and read the three follow-up notices that the Executive Producer/Director of the game posted about housing.
