no no is was happening even folks after the match was messaging me and telling me the same thing as well so yeah there is cheating going on big time
So fresh it'll smack yo momma!!!
I'm not trying to "deflect".
I'm well aware there are cheaters around, but they have limits on what they're capable of; namely, they can only manipulate data that is handled at a client-side level like movement, animation/OGCD delays, etc.
Unless they've made some sudden breakthrough that allows for manipulation of additional elements, I think we would've seen the RMT groups that are known for abusing hacks to speed up their farming using some of these supposed cheats like no cooldowns and invincibility.
The closest thing to god mode I've actually heard of is people manipulating MP regen speed to remain at out of combat levels so recuperate can be spammed constantly, which in conjunction with removal of animation/OGCD delays means they could just have a bot set up to constantly spam recuperate while they do the rest of their rotation.

Oh, the cheats are rampant. People spending over 20 seconds in Guard, dragoon jumping every attack they make, people immune to CC, Completely ignoring damage (like 5 vs1, all their other teammates were overtime dead, so long far away), 0 cooldown on skills so they spam it freely..
Don't delude yourself thinking they can't do anything. They are there, wrecking the game. And the more SE lets it go, the more people will get the cheats to get their wins. People are lame for cheating, but SE isn't doing better letting it encourage others to join in.
Implement an anti-cheat, SE, or see everyone start cheating.
Anti-Cheats don't even work. Since people find ways around them anyways. At best you just letting SE install a rootkit in your computer.Oh, the cheats are rampant. Cheaters can also hack their GCD lower (within limits) and more importantly hack cast times down to almost nothing. Cast times can include the elixir, and if they can spam that they can outheal anything. Cheaters also can get extremely brief actual invulnerability by teleporting to spawn and back, but that isn't going to last long enough to matter and would be extremely conspicuous.I'm not trying to "deflect".

That said, there are still WAY too many cheaters running around. They're mostly present at platinum and above, but I've seen a few in gold and one down in bronze. OP, the reason you're having issues at Silver 1 is because that's when you can get matched against platinum players, the first tier where cheaters become somewhat common.
Several of them aren't even trying to hide it: they'll do things like run while bound, stand still during charging abilities, use two GCDs within one of mine when we're the same class, or have superhuman reflexes and interrupt limit breaks every time. I've seen 5 overt cheaters and one less obvious cheater in around 40 matches, with 12 matches having someone cheating. I was matched against one cheater 4 times in a row, and with a different cheater twice. Sadly I believe that the amount of cheating (and other unsporting conduct like wintrading) is either driving people away from ranked CC or toward those same things that are ruining the mode for everyone else.

For a start, maybe you should be pounding on the tank - they're not that tanky, and at moments it's important to take them down.I know bards are way underpowered in dps compared to the other classes, but I should not be able to pump 5 fully buffed skills into someone and their health bar just doesn't even move. And I'm not talking about pounding on the tank. I'm talking about NIN, SAM, DRG, MNK, SGE, WHM, SCH, BLM, SMN, RPR, RDM, MCH, DNC, and even other bards. I can see laying into a tank and their health bar hardly moves. They're a TANK; it's to be expected, but these other classes, something is not right.
Oh, this phenomenon doesn't happen against every player. Just sometimes, particularly once I get up to about Silver 1.
But even more than that, focus fire with teammates. Whether that's the tank or anyone else. Even DPS can have too many defensive options to effectively take down alone, especially as a bard.

Climbed from season level 20 ->21 with one of my alts today on Chaos by Casual matchmaking.
Came across few unbelievably instant counter LBs were flying even among those few matches my daily grind took.
What's the motive to maybe cheat in casual matches like that, makes no sense I think.

There just simply aren't enough people who are fully aware of - much less willing to pay for! - these cheats for them to be as prevalent as people on forums are claiming them to be. Not just 'aware that they exist', aware of specifically what they are and where to find them. It's starting to strain the bounds of credulity. It's even less realistic for anyone to be running into them with any kind of frequency at bronze/silver in week three - nobody's paying for or using cheats to lose, so they're not going to be down at the bottom ranks for very long to begin with.
I'm inclined to say that it's gonna take some evidence to prove you're not just blithely nuking into Mesotes or Guard. (Plenty of Diamond and Crystal players still do this, so you'll at least be in fine company!)
This is easily the most willfully ignorant thing I've read all week. There just simply aren't enough people who are fully aware of - much less willing to pay for! - these cheats for them to be as prevalent as people on forums are claiming them to be.
