There are ways to increase the visibility of your opponent's buff bar and you should be paying attention to those regardless especially against samurais

I have no issues with either, guess I'm just good? Lol.
And you can just use guard when you see DRG LB....
Can't do that with SAM

DRG = Dragoon disappeared? Spread/heal/guard. Or simply sprint away, the dragoon can die from dots while in the air and the only thing they bring to the table is damage, so nerfing their lb would make the class worthless in any comp. Is pvp as you said you aren't suppose to have a pve indicator so everyone can just ignore the LB.
Sam annoyed me day 1, now I either CC the Sam, spread away from team mates while the lb is ready or just focus melt them down.
Meanwhile machinist brings CC, dots, burst damage and a heavy damage lb and point support while being range and stupidly safe to play.
I feel all you need is more experience countering said jobs. The new pvp system is quite new after all.

Why I think Chiten when SAM has LB should be more apparent. A more emphasised sword spin, brighter VFX so it's much harder to miss when they're about to go full Yojimbo.
I'd actually argue the most broken part of the SAM kit is much more subtle
Their ability to Guard break with a well timed ignores CC removal buffed Stun.
It's remarkably easy to set up and do, a lot of SAMs open with stun instead of using Blade arts to force out Guard to land a Guard Breaker though so it's not something you'll see in lower ranks
honestly if the whole party is OS by the sam... they deserve it!
they need to hit the sam while chiten and need to be close to each other! offering themself to a Limit Break... something you will have one time every 2 minutes or so...
By that logic if the whole party gets killed by a DRG LB they deserve it, you have ample time to GUARD or move out
Also DRG LB cannot OS from 100%hp like SAM
The issue is I can Mountain Buster something that isnt the SAM trying to make that thing not move, the SAM gets hit then my team gets dead, for an action i wasnt even trying to throw at them. SMNs ENTIRE kit aside from ruin cleaves. And even if I just...sit on my hands when they have LB ready which is stupid to have to do period, even if they are offscreen they might sprint into range from around a corner.
