Disabling Chocobo Song

Hi, before I start, yes this is a trivial issue and probably some of you will say, the devs have more important stuff to worry about than this, and that's true.

I would just like to say that the Chocobo song is great, but it gets old and annoying fast when you have to ride your chocobo for a long time. For example riding from Uldah to Camp Dragon in Coerthas took at least 20 minutes. In FFXI, wasn't it after 3 minutes, the chocobo song stops? Perhaps they could implement a system like that after 3 minutes the song stops.

The main reason is because I want to enjoy the zone's unique music as well. The zone's music creates the ambience and the mood of the environment, but if I have cheery happy chocobo music blasting through, it destroys the mood. When you ride through scary areas, it doesn't feel as scary/creepy. When I have to ride far, I end up muting the volume.

What are your thoughts? Does it get annoying for you as well or is it just me?

Ah, I searched Chocobo song, and didn't get that thread. Thanks for pointing that out and glad they're working to give options.
