Fixing matchmaking for pvp

I wish the developers would consider adding grouped up match making for ranked in crystalline conflict. The way it currently is that it's just a big coinflip whether or not you get matched with a good team or not while your knowledge and skill exceeds that of your team.
What i'm saying is is that you could be the number 1 player of your server but not be able to climb out of bronze because of the others in your team, having a team that you can q up for together makes it alot more fair, or idk have 2 seperate queues one for solo play and one for group play but keep the ranking the same so that solo players don't get screwed out of their experience either.

I think they made it this way right now just to get the queues rolling for the initial test run of CC. They'll probably patch in proper matchmaking in the next .0 patch or so.

Or at least that was the impression I got. If that isnt being considered by them then totally yeah premades need to be implemented please.

PvP through the DF has always been this way, so no, they didn't make it like this just for CC.

Uh what are you talking about? I was able to queue in for Frontlines with some friends just fine. Unless thats only a thing for it and not for the other pvp modes.

Frontlines limits you to a party of 4 I believe, to counter excessive premade stacking.

Feast never allowed you to group up either - that was all solo queue. From time to time they would run team ranked seasons; you could only queue up if you were in a premade of 4 and you played against other premades. I figure that will return at some point, but I wouldn't expect to see queuing as a party added to solo ranking any time soon.

Never paid attention to Feast. But given the way Crystalline Conflict is setup the only way I could see premades being fair is if they had a seperate queue for premade 5 member teams that only matched against other premade 5 member teams. Letting premades match against random teams in a 5v5 match is just a way to exploit the system for easy W/L padding.

If they keep the mode fresh and interesting with new rewards every season, they'll consistently have plenty of people playing. Then they can match people based on tiers, bronze with bronze, silver with silver, etc.
