Atleast in real life if you live in the worlds most expensive cities you have to over pay to get something you really want but in this game you can’t do that either .. you’re no allowed to get anything unless luck favours you .

At first you had to fight off 20 auto clickers clicking that placard behind a hidden timer for 24 hours now this ! After all that this is what you get . Well atleast you’re not paying money for this game … oh wait you are !

They need to do something and add instanced housing because adding wards will never meet the demand.

It's not just about the plots, which is bad enough. Placing furniture is also the worst I've ever seen. No z-axis, and a stupid classification system for floors/walls/indoor/outdoor. The entire system needs a broom through it.

Rest assured the grand majority of the community is with you. For something so laidback and easygoing as an ingame house it is shockingly difficult and arbitrary to get one. And it won't ever end until they give us instanced housing.

The lottery system bug, for now.
And for the situation, well you can thank the many house sellers who forced SE to put this system in place, since every time a new slot was released, it was gone in 15 minutes, less for the big slots.

Was it better when houses were bought day one and sold for 5x the price by house seller?

These issues wouldn't exist at all if they had given us instanced housing. It's the fact that housing is limited at all that many of these issues exist.

There's much to complain about with FFXIV housing but worst? Personally I think GW2 and WoW are (much) worse despite being available to everybody. That does not excuse XIV's shortcomings.
