No, you can't make it so that if someone leaves the other people don't lose a star; And if you don't lose a star if you leave then that's something that needs to be addressed.

If someone leaves they should lose a star and not get any rewards (this would mean waiting out the rest of the match for the rewards would be more worth it). I'm shocked that isn't how it is right now (I'm assuming that's not how it is judging by what other people are saying here.

If someone leaves your group, that sucks, but it happens. Changing the above (if it's not that way already) should prevent a lot of that though.

nah I don't blame them if they want to take the 30 minute penalty from using DF. some people are just there to just get crystals and could care less about rank had one person just sit at the gate during the match. it was like why you do this. I have been tempted to just up and leave mid match because the players are bad or not participating.

People already spam "Good Match" and give up when they see the comps.

If people are responding to this with 'They can't do this because of [X] reason' then the system itself needs an overhaul.

Gaining and maintaining stars is annoying enough but starting a game with a player less and having your streak broken and going down is just the worst. Again, my response is always 'Maybe they should look at how other games have solved/minimised this issues' rather than trying to fix it within the system's current parameters.

Once someone leaves you can leave yourself and not get a penalty so I dont see the probelm. Like ok yeah it's bad, unfair we dont get another player to join in but honestly if the match is already loosing with 5 deaths and crystal just in 2nd checkpoint, it's all ready a lost match. I can see why people would leave. On the other hand, if the match just started and somone leaves, the game should allow a player to queue in during match in that 30sec starting window

Just report that player.
Of he gets multiple reports for abusing a system then they will get punished.

Well, it does not help you for the moment, you just have to take that lose, but in the long run these player will hopefully get a ban for it.

Also, the chances that this is happening to your team is lower because you only have 4 potential people who leave, while the enemy team has 5.
