Compiled SAM threads against 6.1 changes / Kaiten removal

The lack of a simple yes or no response leads me to feel that the director or someone else at a high level is insistent on keeping the Kaiten removal regardless of how much requested forum feedback is left yet is nervous about breaking the news to those players, but absolute silence is worse than saying anything; even a dismissive no would be more polite than not acknowledging the issue months after specifically asking for feedback. It just rubs me the wrong way.

Let’s please not help enable the “You think you want it, but you don’t.” mentality that World of Warcraft developers have infamously expressed, which already seems to be followed regarding the lack of notable additions to healer DPS variety; there’s an example of a developer versus player disconnect that’s rarely acknowledged in live letters or interviews.

I think that the problem with this is that if you do then next time people will expect the same in another case and when they don't make an urgent mention of it people will begin to go wild with speculation.
They said that they're delaying the AST and DRG reworks because of the negative feedback towards SAM, that's as good of an admission we're going to get before the Live Letter.

Did they actually state that? Because nothing I've see going over the live letter ever mentioned they said due to the feedback about SAM. Just that they were being postponed due to being too much to do or something like that.

I haven't watched the live letter in full yet, so legitimately curious question if they actually said this or not.

I didn't really care about the Kaiten removal, imo people have made a way bigger deal about it than it actually is.
I still hope they reverse it though so people can stop complaining, and I'm hopeful for some acknowledgement in the next live letter.

I've played a lot of sam in Endwalker and I was a sam main in Shadowbringers, and I'm currently progging TEA as sam.
I'm not ignorant just because I don't agree with all of your opinions lol.

EDIT: Also, for the record, I do think the auto-crit change was a big deal, much bigger than the removal of Kaiten. Anti-synergy between jobs is a big issue and needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

Autocrit is a minor balancing issue, calling it way more important is some major parsing tunnel vision. It doesn't matter how much you iron out minor synergy annoyances (that most players will not even notice) if the job doesn't feel good to play in the first place.

I respectfully have to disagree that it's flooding since it's the compiled posts of plenty of Samurai's on the forums as a collective. The only topic I do post about is pretty much Samurai and not complaining about several topics on several subsections unlike someone else here.

But lets put " Flood " into question shall we as of Today... excluding the post on the Compiled Samurai thread here...

Finally this charade can end once and for all.

Given Kaiten isn’t returning (which I highly praised the Devs) SAM overall is not dead or forever go outside & sing soprano tragedy.

Besides, SAM isn’t truly dead as much as you anyone deems it to be as though Kaiten became a martyr.

I do certainly hope they stick with it & address other areas of the game that’s yet much more of a higher priority (whichever points may be).
