Thread: Compiled SAM threads against 6.1 changes / Kaiten removal

I’m troubled by the silence, but I guess it’s better than, ‘kaiten is never coming back.’ I think I’ve blocked the petulant trolls telling us to stop talking about it, and it’s gratifying to see how few there actually are (I’ve only blocked the 2 deliberately obnoxious ones). But I also appreciate that their bratty comments lead to more of what bothers them so, so much. “Thanks for reminding me, troll! Samurai feels empty, hollow and dull without kaiten. Please revert.” That’s a nice perk.

I didn’t expect a reversion in this mini patch, but I still can’t help feeling disappointed. Other than the troll-brats who don’t play the class, the ‘bring it back please’ side seems to be universal. I would expect some response from the devs just out of respect for the fact *they asked for feedback.* I certainly wouldn’t have hauled myself to any forum otherwise, if I truly believed that feedback wouldn’t matter.

You can only dream about Kaiten as much as you like,

Be in constant limbo,

For now it is no longer present.

That's your problem then. Complain about it. Make your displeasure known and do not give in until your complaints are heard and understood. You deserve it just as much as us.

Play as a base class (no soul crystal) for a few days, then come back and tell me what you thought of the experience.

How’s that going to convince me?

Just about any job is still enjoyable, unless you let this “Meta” mindset dictate you otherwise,

Whatever logic, parse dps damage, excel sheet math sort, the point being is that changes came & most of you are redundant to follow along except cultivate a rebelliob within that’s yet to be quelled,

Then again you may dream abour it however much you like. The reality is appreciate current SAM & move on.

Clearly an ability was removed & it brought such discord of dissatisfaction the posts are relentless & also entertaining.
